  1. I've got the same Haibike and love it.
  2. Thanks for that, I think they may be in touch. Can the shifter be placed on the other side as my Mum is left handed? My Dad will probably look at the big bear as its a little less 'girly'
  3. Hi all, My parents have just bought a holiday home and want to get a couple of Ebikes to puttle around on. Mum is 65, around 10.5 stone and about 5'10 and Dad is 67, around 14.5 stone and about 5'10 too. They want something inexpensive (circa £1K) to just have a gentle ride around fairly flat ground where their holiday home is. They would be riding no more than 15 miles in any one trip. They have looked at Rad Power bikes (although none in stock at present) but are they any good? Thanks in advance for all and any info. Adam
  4. I collect original 80's BMXs and believe me, they can and do run into thousands. Nostalgia is a lucrative market.

Thanks for the welcome. What's a dropper post?

Hi all, My names Adam from Surrey and this is my first Ebike. After a trip to the New Forest last year where I hired an electric mountain bike, I loved every minute of it so now we are looking to book it again for this summer, I thought I’d take the plunge and buy one. I’m hoping I’ll use it more than one weekend a year though and so I picked up my new bike yesterday and took it for a long (for me) ride. 7 miles to be precise which is about 6 more than I’ve done since last summer!! Looking forward to many more miles.
  7. The ‘key’ pic might help too! It’s saying hold buttons 4 & 5 down together for about 3 seconds.
  8. I got a separate manual with my Haibike yesterday which is specifically for the same Yamaha LCD as yours, hopefully this pic will attach and answer your question:
  9. Thanks for the detailed review, very interesting.
  10. Thanks for the replies. I opted for the SDURO hardNine 5.0 and it feels great, I can’t wait to take it out on some light trails. I’ll look into the tubeless tyres Eagle mentioned above. Thanks again.
  11. Thanks. Are the cube bikes as well built as the Haibikes?
  12. Hi all, I hired an electric mountain bike last year on a trip to the new forest and absolutely loved it so now I've decided to buy one and start riding more frequently. I'm 42, a bit out of shape and intend on doing light off road riding, maybe 5 - 10 miles each session and 3 - 4 times a week. I wouldn't have a clue how to fix anything (including a puncture) so I need a bike that is well built and will not fall apart too quickly. I'm looking at buying this bike, https://www.e-bikeshop.co.uk/Haibike-sDuro-HardSeven-5.0-2019 and wondered if it would be a good all round starter bike Thanks for any advice.
