It's a concept, not a physical problem, and the wheel size of e bike is ok to be smaller when riding. The rider group may be small at the beginning but it keeps growing.

DYU would try hard to reach that number and get banned. But before that, the factory boss, many agents & wholesalers could become billionaires already. Hoverboard has achieved many young entrepreneurs' dream.

It sounds scientific, but the optimal wheel size should be calculated by following 5 factors- the wheel weight, rider weight, height, vehicle & speed according to your theory. So any change of the 5 factors will cause the wheel size change, and optimal wheel size will be a much more dynamic number rather than 10st rider is 24", 15st rider is 26" etc.

This is a disaster of truth, Honda motor is a combustion-powered scooter. When a certain amount of gas burns, the engine push the wheel a certain distance no matter the wheel is big or small. While the electricity-powered motor is in a different theory. Big wheel causes the motor hot and shortcut.

Honestly, DYU lose battling this very big scooter..

Why should DYU compete with the other big e bikes when the small shape is its advantage? Being like Lego is also not bad thing when enough people love and buy it. It's family friendly after all both for parents & kids. When DYU has a low manufacturing cost by improving its tech in production and management, it's capable of providing better things at a lower price with decent profits for developing new models. Meanwhile, giant orders also reduce its manufacturing cost.

There is something to cushion the roads. The inflatable tires and seat with proper springs are definitely enough for that.

It is folding in its design. Over folding design makes the bike broken easily when overloading.

They are the series feature not an afterthought: DYU 1, 2, 3 all have the distinctive streamline dolphin shape. Nowadays, people care a lot more about the product shape & look than before and that's also a reason why DYU is popular.

Riding safe with helmets, gloves and knee pads on will reduce the accidents significantly. But nothing is 100% safe including the cars that take away hundreds of lives everyday on earth. The weight makes it durable and able to load taller & heavier Europeans. By the way, the gross weight of DYU is 18kg, net weight is 13 kg.
