  2. I checked and he responded back, no availability. If I see that right that is a BMS type device which would be overkill for me. The battery pack is ready build and I have no chance taping into the circuits inside the battery pack. I have found the 1Sheeld device and also looked into Arduino data logger shields. I think I look into that a bit further. I have experience with voltage and current monitoring for a different application using LTSR Closed Loop Current Sensors, the data logging and RTC on an Adruino would be new to me but probably worth looking into. Still, if people have any suggestion for a simple voltage and current data logger please post it here. Thanks Jan
  3. I assume that is https://www.speedict.com ? I check that out. Thanks for that. Jan
  4. Hello, I was looking to get a Junsi PowerLog 6S to have some way of logging battery usage information but it turns out that device is no longer available. Do other people have similar devices in use they can recommend ? I am looking to have logging for battery voltage, battery current at a rate one reading per second. The PowerLog 6S seems to have a bunch of pretty cool features, anything similar to this would be great at a similar price tag under 100 Euro. I believe this solt at around 70-90 Euro when it was available. Thanks Jan
  5. My drive is approx 500m long non public road with gate, I doubt anyone cares about that. We have to many cops around to take risks on public road.
  6. Hello, I have a Samebike LO26 M-Nine 48V 500W. This bike has a controller with the designation X863-AA005 (see picture). The cables are not labelled and I am wondering if anybody has some technical info on this controller. The LCD attached is called S830 which I have found some documentation for. That includes the setup menu but no documentation on the actual controller or any wiring diagrams and pin-outs. Regards Jan PS: I forgot, Google did not help ;-)
  7. Hello, my name is Jan and I am living in West-Cork in Ireland. I have received my 1st electric bike a week ago. Its my 1st bike in over 35 years and I got it because I am off the road for 6 months. So far I am happy with it but I have not yet done any serious biking. I chose to go for a cheap bike from china knowing of the risk it maybe not arriving and having legal issues etc. The saving cost wise has justified the risk in my eyes. Apart for that new adventure I am a Network & Systems Engineer in my full time job. Other interests are anything electronics, 3d printing, CNC in general, sailing and hanging out with friends. I am here to find advise and technical help and get an idea how these bikes work from the electronic and power side of things. The bike I have is called Samebike LO26 M-Nine, 48V battery, 500W hub-motor. I have disabled the speed limiter by means of combination of brakes pulled and controller switched on which gives me a top speed on e-operation only of approx 32 km/h (not yet GPS tested). Have FuN!
