  1. Just to let everyone know, i have got my battery replacement and all is well again, cant fault bob for his customer service(much appreciated) and i'm really happy with the bike as flecc says its the battery supplier not the alien bike/kit thats the problem. So glad to have it back my legs are killing me from having to pedal in and out of work lol Thanks everyone for the advice Thomas
  2. At the terminals that connect the battery to the controller. Think it is the same issue you had drgcb, have been in contact with bob from alien bikes and he also thinks its the battery, same as you, i havent a clue what it is though. Many thanks for the responses Thomas
  3. Only wanted to check see if i was getting power from the battery which i was, other than that havent done anything and dont plan to. Was just wondering if it sounded like a battery or other fault. Thanks Thomas
  4. Hi new to here and received my 1st ebike less than a week a go, have only used it the last few days and evrything seemed fine with it until tonight, had just charged the battery back up and went about a 1/2 mile up the road then all of a sudden complete power failure. Came back home and checked the voltage coming from the battery and it says 39.7v when not connected to the controller. Once i connect the controller it shows 0.5v, does anybody have an opinion on whether this is the battery has failed or if its a controller problem. Have emailed bob but havent got a reply back yet. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Thomas
