  1. Like others have said each have pro and cons. I have a cube 500 sl bought in late 2018 and its a very capable bike whatever you want it to do. I have ridden 63 miles on one charge In mixed terrain. If you clean and maintain your drive train it will last a long time. I changed my rear 11speed cassette after 3500 miles at the cost of £65 so not expensive in my opinion. The new models have the uprated smaller motor and these have very little drag apparently. Whatever you decide just enjoy it. I also managed to buy a second battery online at a reasonable price.
  2. Just fitted a new one today.
  3. MY Cube reaction came with a KMC x11 chain already fitted so i just replace like for like. Done over 5,500 miles, Only had the chain replaced 3 times. Still on the original rear cassette.
  4. I ride my e bike because thats the bike choose to ride. I offer no explanation or excuses. I try my best to ignore people who make assumptions as to my choice of transport.
  5. Had a clicking noise coming from the bottom bracket area on my cube reaction 500sl. Looked on here and someone suggested the seatpost. Sure enough after a good clean up and slight re grease. No noise at all.

Hi all. Not looking for anything in particular at the moment. Had my cube reaction SL500 for about 8 months. Great bike. 3100 miles on it up to now. Love it.
