  2. Also if you’re in the front car seats do you bother with the seat belts?
  3. I had motor bikes before helmet law but they were available and always wore one. How many accidents have you been involved in?
  4. Hi, not been on the forum for a while. on 2nd of August this year I was cycling around a roundabout, 2 lanes to my left exited on to the roundabout 1 lane stopped a car in the other didn’t and drove in to me. I was wearing a bright yellow jacket. Most importantly a helmet which was badly damaged. So please take care and always wear a helmet which I have always done. I will be able to celebrate my 72nd birthday in November now. Take care everyone.
  5. Thanks, always learning with e-bikes
  6. Also I was free wheeling so I thought the battery wasn’t under load and it didn’t go up, but when lever pulled level it went up. anyway thanks again I can see this is well above my pay grade.
  7. Thanks for replies, bike does have brake cut offs, not being electrical minded I was curious as to what was happening.
  8. Hi, while out riding recently I was looking at the battery level indicator, there was two segments left, I just squeezed the brake lever not actually braking. on doing this the battery indicator increased 1 segment when lever released the level went back down. Anyone have any idea what is happening? Many thanks. Brian
  9. Thanks very much appreciated, will keep that in mind.
  10. Thanks for your reply. I had an error message on the display and as the bike was under guarantee informed the dealer. They then put a new hub motor on, new controller, new display. I have tried the old display doesn’t changed speed. Anyway not to worry bike works fine.
  11. Hi, had my oxygen go 4 years now and still going with a couple of new bits, new display n controller with my old display I could derestrict the bike, with this new controller and small display I can’t. Has anyone found out how to do this yet. many thanks. Brian
  12. Also only settings that can be changed are miles/km all others fixed.
  13. Many thanks for the tips, will definitely try.
