Yes I've had some issues with Bosch batteries they apparently brick if you don't follow procedures.BMZ are quite high spec ,it's a canbus system,I might have to substitute the BMS as well as the accompanying controller.Still any contacts or advice welcome.

Hello thanks for taking time to reply,being a BMZ BMS it's got I believe canbus communication wires as well as your + and -, the battery came to me opened so warranty is out, getting dealer too order a new BMS is not easy when you've no contacts.Got any ideas. Hello,I'm working on a Thron Focus2 27 1R impulse 2.its a spares repair project.The first stumbling block I've encountered is there's nothing happening when you plug the components together.the cells on the battery are great but the voltage from the BMS is 8 v .The battery switches on lights flash etc I also held the button down and did a reset ,that made no difference. The BMS is made by BMZ I reckon the problem is there does anyone know where I might get one? Could I substitute a BMS from say a kalkoff impulse 2 Endeavour Battery maybe. Thanks for taking your time thinking about this problem.

hi ,sorry ive been unwell this is my first chance at a reply,thanks for your intrest and help.i would guess the cluch is working as i was able to make the wheel turn under walk mod ,suprisinngly the electrics are working.is the clutch a spragg bearing?

Hi,I agree with you ,there is a load of movement in the gear mechanism I thought maybe the bearings are shot, when I got it the hub wouldn't move at all.managed to loosen it so I could push it home,buying a puller so I can remove the assembly for a look,don't know if the bearings come out .But as for the make it's a Bafang 8FUN.

Hello this hub is a bafang 8FUN 36v rear hub ,all working except it needs new nylon gear teeth as in the pics,cant find them was hoping someone has been here before ?

Thanks for the advice ,it was well early when I looked at the photos this morning, I dismantled the battery a couple of moths back,I can see I took pics of the batteries in situe so I should be able to work backwards and refit the bms,I must have been half asleep not to notice that this morning ,strange., all those batteries were dead ,one or two of them had completely broken down not nice!

Hi ,I dismantled my pesu monster battery but the pictures I took are not very descriptive ,consequently I am having problems working out how to replace the cells correctly, any help appreciated, thanks9

Well I thought it only right to tell you how I got on ,I had to swap the free wheel and freewheel plate from another broken motor ,I cleaned the display terminals resoldered the sensor ,moved the wheel and it registered,now I've got to make a bracket for the broken sensor,I'm really chuffed,thanks for you help.

You were right about that sensor,I decided to check the display as I noticed it came off ,the contacts were corroded ,cleaned them and tested the the wheel sensor by turning the wheel ,it worked.

Some infra red is visible ,I take it the sensor isn't, thank you for replying.

Hello,does anyone know how to test the sensor,I can't see any light on the sensors but maybe you can't! The display woks fine but no motor response ,there is five volts on the sensor board from + to - pins 1 and 3.

Your right ,but wouldn't you lose the torque feature, out of curiosity the crenalated rings are they set open or closed. I'm going to look At the threads you suggested now . Have you ever worked on a brose motor.

Just sorted the drive chain problem reassembled the pedal sensor grid etc but was sure to bare in mind all the locating lumps so no wobble ,I've lost all the little shim washers though,must replace them.

Thanks for confirming what I thought,I bought a Vulcan supposed to be faulty battery . Been working on it , problems I've found,the sensor ripped off as you said , the drive chain warped so chain falls off , the cassette free wheel free wheel teeth sheered !!!! Resoldered the control got rid of the e42 error .I've got the hub parts for the freewheel so that's not an issue but I was wondering what the best option for me is.Thank you for helping me.
