  1. May the Lord enter your hearts and his peace bring you happiness and contentment. Wishing you all the very best for 2021. I‘m now stepping outside for a moment.
  2. You have slipped back into being a knob-head again. Stop.
  3. Nice one Ged.
  4. The approval of the Oxford vaccine is great news. That’s the first bit done. Now we need a good uptake of the vaccine from the public. What better way to encourage uptake than for all MPs to be first in line with their sleeves rolled up and to then return to normal business in the HoC. That would send out a powerful message and it would be a fine example of leadership. By doing the above, our leadership would regain some credibility and I think, say 20 000, out of 100 000 000 000 doses available, used would be worth it. Let’s see what happens. My guess is they will wait and see how phase 2 of the clinical trial, vaccination of a mass population, pans out. They will no doubt be cheering us along from a safe distance.
  5. Don't forget the contracts to supply the equipment and materials needed to make a Nightingale Equipment Warehouse (AKA a Nightingale Hospital). There will be people who have made more money than the average person earns in a lifetime off the back of this. They will now have run off and won't be heard from again.
  6. What you describe is humanity. That’s what humans do, the ancient instinct to survive and prosper at any cost kicks in and some can’t resist the feeling, it overwhelms them. It’s always existed and it always will.
  7. You‘ve not seen the British tourists holding mass gatherings on Australian beeches then? Our population has no mettle, no resolve to dig in and get the job done, especially the young. That’s why we have made degrees nothing more than attendance certificates at all but the few proper universities. They don’t have the staying power to study for a real degree, they’d give up or fail inside 3 months, just like they have done with coronavirus. :D :D
  8. Sorry to be crude, but perhaps not if they emerge from jail with an ass-hole resembling a clown’s jacket pocket. That’s what these racketeering gits deserve.
  9. Not much has changed then. Matt Handcock awarding a multimillion pound PPE contract to a pub landline mate with absolute no expertise in the provision of PPE, for example. These people deserve jail time, banged up with a 22 stone predatory homosexual.
  10. The rules are unenforceable, there is simply too many rule breakers and not enough enforcers. For that reason, if we are to have rules, they need to be clear and simple. The tier system and layers of exemptions confuse the public and they just give up. T1 and T2 result in T3 being imposed, so there is no point to having them. T3 just about holds the situation at bay and I don’t know what T4 achieved. There should just be 1 set of special measures which is basically shut everything down and stay at home and don’t mix with anyone unless it’s essential. That could be applied as necessary and where necessary. As a background measure, pubs, gyms and other indoor social venues should remain closed everywhere until mid spring.
  11. The government have not handled the Coronavirus pandemic well. They have made many mistakes which will have cost lives. They are not alone in their errors though, other countries have made poor decisions too, but that doesn't make it right. You can't heap all the blame onto the government though. In general, the British Public are probably the biggest bunch of weak minded idiots on the planet. They are incapable of following basic simple guidance, they lack the resolve to make a few temporary minor adjustments to their lifestyles, or to wear a piece of tissue over their mouths. They are utterly pathetic, a disgrace to themselves and the country. They have cost tens of thousands of lives because they are so weak and feeble and should be shot in large numbers. I am also tired of hearing grand parents on the TV and radio sobbing because they can't hug their grand children. They can......... if they want to die. Why can't the morons understand the guidance is for their own good? I'm baffled how these imbeciles managed to attract a mate and were able to breed. Astonishing.
  12. Any changes to food prices after Brexit are likely to be "very modest indeed" under the deal struck between the UK and the EU, the chairman of Tesco has said. Good news.
  13. Today. Better late than never I support.
  14. There isn’t enough for everyone, be patient and think yourself lucky you aren’t in the EU where vaccination hasn’t even started. They are still talking about it. Soon you will have priority access to the Oxford vaccine too you lucky man.
  15. You are probably correct and the fact that he and his minions are still doing laps of honour and applauding themselves doesn't give much confidence that anything will improve. The UK is now at least three weeks ahead of the EU in the vaccination process which undeniably will save lives. Had we been waiting for EU vaccine approval, the programme would not yet have started, which would have cost lives. You could say that the early days of Brexit has saved many lives, what happens in the longer term remains to be seen.
