  1. Good afternoon, I have a 36v 350w yose power rear hub drive with a built in controller with the battery holder. A few weeks ago the power kept turning its self off. I contacted yose they sent me a new battery under warranty. I have since managed to do 3 rides on it now problem around 75 miles. But my last ride again the power started to switch off I seem to be able to ride approximately 1/2 a mile before all power is lost. I now can't Evan switch it back on. Any ideas!????
  2. Good evening, Yes of course, I'll get some photos for you Tommorow.
  3. Good Afternoon. I have a few parts from what I would call a learning curve! 36v 350w motor. About 6 miles on this. Then my tyre rubbed through the motor cable. Blue and white wires split in half. Will need solder. Split half way down cable. I have a yose battery plate, with a speed controller combined. This was changed as precaution but again 6miles ish A yose battery 13v 12ah 6 months old a couple of thousand miles. Have been told it needs a new battery management system. These are approx £10 but I wouldn't know how to solder one in. Electronics are not my thing. All these will be available when my new battery arrives. 2 weeks I would really like to take a p/x on these items for a vintage road bike Or maybe try me on a offer £.
  4. Good evening, brief history of my e.bike , I purchased a Boardman cyclocross bike, and fitted a Yose e.bike kit. It’s a 36 350w it has the controller built into the battery base. so far in the 9 months I have had it I have completed 4000 miles trouble free. while I was out riding the other day i had 4 out of 5 bars of battery bars, and all of a sudden it switched itself off? I continued to ride home approx 16 miles and in this time would not switch on. once I got home I plugged it on charge with the battery in situ and the system switched back on . I tried it again today after being put on charge and it worked and powered off showing only 3 bars of battery, I then managed to switch on again and it was showing 5 bar battery. I have taken the battery off and noticed where the connection slide in on the battery base a small amount of dry blue/green powder , I’m wondering if the battery is leaking. there is a separate battery test button which illuminated all the green lights , but this is very intermitten, some times flashes Red some time all green im thinking the battery is kaput!!! many thanks
  5. N No motor only, and cradle and controller only, untested since the tyre rubbed through the two wires 36v 350w
  6. Hi, I just wondered if anybody on here would be interested in buying a YOSE 350w motor- my tyre rubbed through the cable slightly , it skimmed the top of the blue wire but still in tact , and snapped one of the other thin wires in there. I also have a speed controller , its the sort that has the battery/controller built in together obviously minus the battery. I have purchased new items as I needed to be back on the road ASAP. repairing the motor would be beyond me .
  7. Yes I'll go and pick a meter up.... Tried the wheel, do. You mean remove the wire that goes into the axle? I spun it, yes freewheel one way and resistance the other way
  8. That's very kind of you, but your about 150 miles away... Do you know of anyone in Nottinghamshire? After uncovering the black cable, a thin green wire had snapped and took a bit of the blue plastic off the thinner one, obviously they were touching. I have rejoined them, but when thee acceleration is pressed, the wheel moves forward about an inch and stops. Then the noise from the controller starts until you let off
  9. Brilliant thanks for the help, to be honest I'm not great with electronics. Considering buying a new kit as I need it for commuting. Not sure if I could sell the old one for spares or repair
  10. Also..... Does anyone know of anyone in the Nottinghamshire area that could look over it? I'm not aware of any shops?
  11. Hi, Completed a very successful 90miles on my yose kit 350w kit. Unfortunately on my way home today, my tyre rubbed through thee motor cable. Its plugged from the controller to motor, its skimmed the top off a thickish blue wire and snapped a very thin green cable..... I joined it back together. But now all the bike does is rock forward when throttle is applied, and a noise comes from the built in speed controller? The controller and battery mount are one unit.... Any ideas or have I ruined it?
  12. Hi.... I have just come home from work, and I. Got strange vibration through the bike, the motor stopped and flashed error 11 and then stays on error 24? It trys to drive and then cuts out and flashes thee error codes Any ideas?
  13. Thanks , ill have a look at putting it on the chain ring I think. thanks for the help Kit used for the first time this morning, 12 miles Battery reading started as 40.15 after ride 37.00 and battery symbol still on full bar. I used the bike with throttle only helping me up hills etc... absolute brilliant. the battery lasted far better than I thought. if any gripes on kit, it was a real struggle to get the back wheel in , almost had to stretch the frame slightly ,
  14. My yose kit is here... Mid install... And found the clip on disc type sensor, just gets squashed when you tighten the crank arm back up?..... I have seen they also do another sensor in the accessories range
  15. It's the clip on disc type I have
  16. No worries.... I appreciate any help! Battery now charged, Next question would be..... The clip on sensor that goes on the crank arm just gets squashed when I put it on? Do I need to order the other type??
  17. Brilliant thank you, ordered the adapter..... Unfortunately a shaver adapter wouldn't work
  18. Good evening, I have just received my yose power kit, and the charger is a two pin, with also an additional hole in the plug? Does anyone know what kind ofadapter I need to use Many thanks
  19. brilliant , thanks again .....kit has now been ordered
  20. Also.... The kit I am buying says its a freewheel, my current set up is a 9 speed cassete, as long as I buy a 9 speed freewheel will this be OK??
  21. Hi, Hmmm not really... I'm still really tempted to go for the one with the built in controller... 36v12.5 battery.... But its knowing it'll last 24 miles... I usually average 16mph on the way to work and 18mph coming home... But the kit will really just be for the odd hills I expect
  22. On the front wheel kit, it's max speed is 25kph I'm right in thinking once it gets to this speed the motor just cuts off?
  23. Right OK, I'll go for the kit without the battery and order another separately. My main thing is it gives me a little help over a 24 mile round Trip to work. Out of interest what milage do you get with your 7ah battery?
  24. A Hi, Again thanks everyone for your input on this. Do you have this kit that I'm looking at? I have looked at the front wheel 250w kit aswell to be honest, Do people think the kit would be better with the seperarte control and Samsung cell? Or maybe just go. With the kit with the built in controller.. I'm still liking this Purley for the neatness of it
  25. Good morning, thanks for the information really I think I will go for this , as then I can put the Samsung cells with it.
