  1. Many thanks for the response. Sounds fairly painless. TBH will probably need to extend the cable anyway as am looking at a rack mounted battery as the motor is in a new frame, alot smaller and the old 9.5Mah battery is a tight squeeze on the bottle mount.
  2. Hi all, Still looking to get my bike back on road, it has a Bafang BBS01 250w mid drive motor. I'm looking to get a new battery and seen a few - how would it work with cabling between the new battery and the motor as I expect there is no standard connection! The motor has a cable with a 4 pin female plug on it. Would I need to get either a converting cable or have to take connectors off an splice together with whatever the battery comes with?
  3. Many thanks! Will give them a try.
  4. Hi All, I put a Bafang 250w 36v BBS01 mid drive on a bike several years ago and the battery needs replacing (as it dies under load, needs charging after 15 miles etc) The current battery (pun not intended!) is about 9MaH (Kettle style) so was wondering what there would be in terms of an upgrade, maybe double the capacity? The connection from motor to battery is a 3 pin plug (looks like an XLR connection if anyone is familiar with audio leads!)
