  1. Hi David, I spoke to Adrian a couple of weeks ago and he suggested that its likely to be the controller. He told me to e-mail my contact details to the support team which I did but I haven't heard anything since. Regards, Jack
  2. Hi Jonah, yes I agree it does seem a bit unlikely its the motor but thats what the diagnostics are suggesting. I've contacted the the customer support at Wisper and hope they will respond.
  3. Hi Jonah, its from China but got it directly from a battery supplier (Yose Power). They get very good reviews and it appears to charge well and gives 42V across the output terminals. It may be that my original 'Wisper' battery still has some life in it as I assumed that the original problem was the battery. However the latter is several years old so I felt it was time for a new one anyway.
  4. Hi everyone, my wife has had a Wisper 705 SEL for several years although she has probably only done around 100 miles on the bike in all that time. It has been stored in the garage and I have recently taken it out of mothball and installed a new battery. However when I tried to switch on the LED controller display only the first LED (of six pedal assist settings) illuminates. Looking in the diagnostic section of the manual it suggests that the motor is seeing excessive current. The motor cabling looks fine, the motor itself has seen very little operation and has never got wet or damp so it seems a little surprising if this is the problem. Any suggestions on how I can investigate this further and rectify the problem? Many thanks.
