  1. I have read that Das-kit had the connections off shelf component made non standard So that and given how unsatisfactory the bike as been with other issues over all I have now returned it I will research some more and find a bike that's more suitable to my needs next time
  2. Wanting to increase the PAS Max speed on my NCM bike I be quite satisfied with around 30-35kmh it currently 25kmh The Das-Kit system appears to be complete locked down so I'm considering if Sourcing a alternate KT display and controller that would plug and play with the current hub motor -There is a Das-Kit Display that allows for adjustment but its quite expensive Would this be a possibility ? Anyone else done this on a Das-Kit equipped bike?
  3. I'm in the same boat 6' though lost 10kg so down to 125kg There not so strict on the 250w regulation over here (Australia) though the 25km is rather strictly applied by bike suppliers I had NCM on my short list until reading regular spoke breakage issue more often with heavy riders , there's also a rain ingress issue with there batteries regular reported So I'm considering a fat tire bike maybe is a 20"x4 cargo some rather up 150kg Though I suspect i may look like a rather decrepit hipsters on one lol
  4. I don't really want to go wild I just want to increase the assist speed cutout to around 30-35 kmh NCM restrict it to 25kmh in my country I'm guessing a little this would be possible based of the information in the attach image (source: Bafang Max Drive System User Manual) this would be possible using 0512 password unless NCM models use a custom password or firmware I guess I need to find a test ride bike or a owner to test this out on
  5. As the NCM Max mid drive bicycles (Paris Max and Milano Max ) uses a bafang max drive and C966 display I wondering did NCM lock down the control or are they open for tuning using the default bafang 0512 password
