  1. Thanks, ordered multimeter now. I'll get back to the thread once I get it.
  2. What kind of multimeter you use? Any recommendations?
  3. I don't have multimeter, need to get one I think(ebay ones any good? ). What then if faulty mosfet? Should I just get new controller? Any idea where I could get similar one? Are the phase wires those thick yellow, green and blue wires? I was thinking about getting this auto range multimeter, what do you think? https://www.ebay.com/itm/AN8008-9999-Count-Digital-Multimeter-Range-LCD-Voltmeter-AC-DC-Tester-Ammeter/303907430781
  4. I was just driving it on hot summer day 10 months ago and suddenly it lost all power and stopped and the screen didn't turn on(I was cruising at max speed). At home I opened it up and the fuse looked like that.
  5. So I fried fuse(between battery and controller) from my escooter and had to replace it. Now the screen turns on but nothing happens when pulling the throttle trigger. What could be reason for it? Should I replace throttle or controller or both? And where to get similar ones? Screen turns on: Nothing happens when using throttle: Blown fuse: controller: Fixed fuse: Would something like this work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Display-Thumb-Throttle-2-in1-Speedometer-Manual-Control-Panel-for-E-Bike-Scooter/114496928756 ?
  6. Which one goes to which? Black/white and black wire comes from bbs02 and red and black wires comes from lamp.
  7. Instead of plastic ties I would use metallic ones or hose clamps. Metallic zip ties are really strong and sturdy. I ordered few velcro straps few weeks ago from china, but the shipping is quite slow at the moment.
  8. Thanks, I think 40 euros is still too much for that product. If it was 20 euros I would think about it.
  9. https://lunacycle.com/no-drill-battery-mount-kit/ Anyone found alternatives for those grintech ones or these lunacycle ones? 50 dollars for shipping is a bit too much. I was just thinking about making something like this myself from aluminium slab:
  10. Torque applied to the crank is not the same as torque in the drivetrain. https://www.sheldonbrown.com/twist.html
  11. Pro cyclist average between 200-300 watts. Your average cyclists are far below that.
  12. Most of the 250W mid drives gives you 80-90nm of torque and that is a lot and normal bike drivetrains aren't designed for that kind of power.
  13. Weight is not issue with Ebikes though. You don't notice if your cassette + chain are in total 1kg heavier.
  14. Middrives are very popular now days and it made me wonder why Shimano/Sram etc. doesn't make proper really robust drivetrain parts for ebikes? Wider rear sprockets, chainrings and chains.
