  1. I took my bike back and bought an Orbea wild in the end, then crashed into a tree, now I’d like a levo!! When I repair! I’ve added some maguru Mt7 brakes,I could get the bike to slow down enough on descents, so aggressive!
  2. Okay I know ill get hit with rational regarding you just get out there and work it out xyz but I like being efficient/thorough as people are already starting to see ! So without further ado: love this gent! Perfect example of how powerful tools like Trailforks, Alltrails and other apps can be. it also shows how he could have got lost a few times too bumbling about, this is what I want to remove basically, cba bumbling! Im still checking and Kamoot seems to have the best navigation but I can’t seem to search for trails easy at all unless it’s by their recommended ones in the blog sections...ideally I could export the gpx into kamoot but don’t think you can. So then I synced from TF to my Garmin edge and the map showed up nice and easy In the garmin TF app. It looks like this: the above us Trailforks, just perfect! Here is the stripped down Garmin version In the TF app some amazing human created a full loop of all the best parts, I could literally hit start.....ah but no you can’t as ofc TF has no navigation, great! So then you save the route and then sync it to the garmin and off you go.....ah but you lose all the metadata and now everything is just a blue line, no red, black data......great again! So three questions: 1) is there a phone app that can carry its metadata into a nav tool without losing info? 2) is there a way to send app maps to a garmin or another device with all the metadata intact? 3) if garmin is the way is it just some kind of img file that’s missing maybe or something I’m not doing right? If Trailforks just had that nav and added in some gamification (google SAPS system) it would be far better, I don’t see anything doing what I’m looking for which I’m surprised atm; I’m really not asking for much
  3. Sounds quality how do the lights hook into the bike?
  4. left to right 1. Smith Mainline (green) (koroyd/mips) 2. POC coron airspin (airspin/EPP/fibreglass) 3. Fox proframe mips 4. Bell super 3r mips
  5. I’ve a new size M helmet but the max size if 59 and my sweed is 59 also, I thought to go for the M as maybe it’s lighter but it’s too tight and it instantly feels hot like there’s not even ventilation going on.....then there’s part of the helmet near the tightening cog that also digs into the back of my head too does anyone else own this helmet at all and has similar experience? Wondering if it’s worth ordering the large instead, I’d get the fox dropframe but £180 is a joke feel when it was £135....
  6. New one is looking decent, can standalone from the phone
  7. if you have the Kiox is it worth the upgrade or would you stick with the Kiox? I’m wondering if the Nyon gps is better than stuff like kommute for example for trails and things....in my limited testing kommute has tried to send me places bikes can’t actually get through!
  8. Looks useful I’ve just had a Kiox display but seen some deals on the Bosch Nyon, do you think it’s better to go for the Nyon if there was only £50 in It?
  9. oh that’s class then, why would anyone pick speedbox over this then? Does the weight of the helmets not bother you? It’s rare to see full face from any of the YouTube videos I watch with trails and a few jumps but I do like the protection factor compared to your old helmet it looks night and day better!
  10. What’s the difference between this and the speedbox 3.0? Also what was the chat about regarding a battery?
  11. This kind of the same thing as the speedbox? Cheers. Great looking helmet, I had been checking the TLD stage as it’s not far off weight wise and better ventilated but I’m too fearful of looking like a tit tbh, not in the sense that full looks daft but in the sense I’m a noob looking like I’m going nuts deep and then you’ll see my tyres still planted over every bump!! I also know my other half things I’m going through a mid life right now and that would definitely add to the suspicion
