OK, I managed to short the battery (nearly lost an eye but it's ok) unfortunately it hasn't made a difference I still have error 07. Thank you for the information though still, if you can think of anything else I can try please let me know

Error 07 On DCP18 Bafang Rear hub motor
I'm not really comfortable doing that at the moment, however the battery level is now below the 48V mark, would you still suggest shorting it?

Error 07 On DCP18 Bafang Rear hub motor
All connectors coming out of the controller say Julet on them, would this still be a problem with the KT display?

Error 07 On DCP18 Bafang Rear hub motor
It doesn't unfortunately, not that I have been able to find at least. I have ordered a new KT-LCD8H display which should be able to run on a 48V so I'm going to give that a try to see if it helps. Thanks for the info

Error 07 On DCP18 Bafang Rear hub motor
Hi guys, I have a bit of an issue and I can't seem to figure it out. I have a 48v 750w Bafang MG60 Rear hub motor along with a 48v 12ah Hailong Battery and (what I think) is a 48V 750w controller (See Pic) However when I connect everything up I get an Error 07 High Voltage Protection Error message on the DCP18 screen. as the battery was fully charged it was showing as 53.4V so I left the battery on and the volts eventually dropped down to 46V but the error still appears. If the battery is only producing 46v going through a controller for 48v and hitting a 48V motor and all wattage matches (I think), what is the issue? Some people are saying I need a new display, some are saying change the controller. The problem I have is that with changing the controller I cannot seem to find any controllers that provide the same Julet connectors for the kit I already have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
