  1. Hi All, After a year of trouble free and enjoyable riding clocking up 1200 miles of lanes, tracks and canal paths (no downhill other than brief times) My Mate with the same motor on a hard tail is always out in front of me, How much wasted effort am I using having the full suspension compared to his hard tail given the type of riding we do? That got me wondering if I bought a frame only for my existing 26 inch MTB Would it sound possible just to move all the components from my existing onto a new hard tail frame given that the components are a good spec ? I've seen a Cotic BFE frame on auction and wondered if I should bid and convert. Any advice on frames suitable would be appreciated. Cheers Gary
  2. I did follow up on the advice and bought the programming cable, I’ve changed the “keep current” setting from 20% up to 80% and have found everything pretty good. I wanted to ask the others on the forum if I should push this setting up to 100% ? Having the kit on the bike has completely refreshed my enthusiasm for going out on the bike, going out for longer rides without running out of steam.
  3. That’s great thanks, when I bought the spanner to assemble, I bought the program cable as part of the pack but I was initially wary of using it and causing any damage. I’m going have a play around later this afternoon.
  4. Hi all, I’ve fitted my bbs01 kit a couple of weeks ago and had two good runs out and about while this dry weather is here... It goes along ok while on pedal assist quite a steady pace but when I used the throttle it pulls away like a train..... is there an option to make PAS and Throttle have the same output? Thanks
  5. I’ve bought and received the kit and am looking forward to fitting it hopefully this weekend, I checked my frame and the standard battery does fit in but not with enough height to release it from the cradle, I’m hoping to create a foam lined bracket that will hold it in place.
  6. That looks good, does it bounce loose if you’re going over rough ground?
  7. My neighbour has a fitted a whoosh kit a couple of weeks ago, I will try to measure his standard In frame battery to double check it definitely won’t fit in my frame, the chamfered top of your battery looks like it would help get it in?
  8. Thanks for the info, I don’t use the bike for anything other than leisure, would the Bafang 36 volt bbs001 be suitable? And would the standard display give enough information of the battery state etc. Cheers
  9. Hello All, I’m trying to get ideas and parts together for a conversion of my 2007 specialized enduro FS, I’ve been looking at previous posts and it appears that rear hubs are mentioned more than CD, is that the case for full suspension? Mostly used for trails, canal paths and a few hills around Rivington (Bolton) The frame triangle is pretty small but I’m tempted to have a go at building something, I’m an electrician and I have got access to a couple of hundred 18650s which are two or three years old from medical equipment. Hoping the above is enough information to get some advice. Thanks everyone.
