New bike for old bloke?
It depends on budget, Riese and Muller do a number of none crossbar bike with belt drive and two types of hub gears. They are very expensive, depending on model, but high quality. Do a search on YouTube to get an idea. They are all Bosch mid drive bikes. It depends where you are in the country as to where your nearest dealer may, Google or any search engine will find one for you.

Halfords electric scooters.
Yes but they would seem to be parked up at the Police Station and they might be unloading said scooter? To put it in secure storage until they can decide what to do with it, but I could be totally wrong.

Halfords electric scooters.
Not allowed elf and safety, that together with recovery contracts, has to be recovered. Plus the bobby who seized it may well have been on foot. Although I suppose he/she could have ridden it back to the nick, oh no that would be illegal.

Do not go to South Devon for mtb trails, this is all I could find.
Nice video and interesting watch. I’d forgotten how bad access was down there, as I’ve not been for over 30 years. And don’t mention the National Trust rules and Reg’s, what a pain they can be at times.

Hello from the U.S.A.
Welcome. I’m sure someone will be along that can help. I have no experience of trikes or hub drive bikes, so good luck.

Zefal Dooback 2 Rear View Mirror Review
No problem like I say they work really well, but not quality, but I suppose for the money I’m expecting to much.

Zefal Dooback 2 Rear View Mirror Review
Yes you have to cut the bar end off so the mechanism fits inside the handlebar, then tighten, but not to much because the cheap plastic it’s made of will snap inside the bar(don’t ask me how I know). Having said all that they are quite good as a mirror and give a good view of the road behind ( once you have repaired the mechanism after breaking it) And for the price you don’t need to expect to much of the quality.

Carrier help needed please
It’s possible but I ordered mine from a company in Cumbria on the web, they were the cheapest at the time and delivered next day. They were called The Roof Box Company, I don’t know if they have stock or if they are the cheapest at the moment. Decathlon do stock them and others but often stock is in a store hundreds of miles away from home and they won’t always deliver. Do an internet search and see.

Carrier help needed please
I have the Thule XT2 bike carrier and whilst I don’t have a step through bike, I have no problem attaching my bikes to it. You have to move the retaining arms around to find the best place to secure the bike. A step through bike still has a seat tube to fasten to. I don’t know what size wheels and tires your bikes have but mine 27.5x2.4 and the wheel straps are plenty long enough. Also I certainly don’t have to check my bikes every thirty minutes, once they on they are very secure and locked in position and never move. As for the exhaust melting the carrier, mine sits well above the exhaust when mounted on the tow bar, so the rack never even gets warm. I find the XT2 a great way of carrying bikes on my vehicle. It is really well designed and well made, expensive but does the job.

Haibike Sduro Trekking 7.0 2020
I see you listed again, I am interested but I need a couple of questions answered. Can you measure the standover height from the top of the crossbar in front of the seat to the ground. I’ve tried Haibike’s website, but the measurements are not listed in the specifications. I see in your new description you say the bike has been derestricted how? Where would to be prepared to meet, for me to inspect the bike and decide if it meets my requirements? I live in the north Midlands near the M1 motorway.

Sorry to far from me, although I am interested in something like that, but I’m up north and wouldn’t be willing to travel quite that far, best of luck with the sale.

I’ve been riding bikes most of my life, for leisure. But I built a racing bike for commuting to work many years ago. I currently ride a well looked after Diamondback Mountain bike, circa 1995, mainly on trails and paths local to where I live. I usually do between 10 and 25 miles, two or three times a week, just to keep fit. I’ve been thinking of getting an ebike for about a year, mainly due to lockdown restricting movement, so I could take exercise without transporting the bike by car to my preferred trails, as it is quite hilly where I live. Not really sure what ebike to get so I thought I would use some of this sites resources.
