  1. Happy New Year, here's the bike to get you on the road and back to fitness for 2024 eBay listing Wisper Wayfarer
  2. It's listed on eBay now as no views on here.
  3. Yes, the price reflects that they'll have to come and pick it up from SY4. I'll take some photos tomorrow, but it is like the brochure. I even have a spare full set of brakes that Wisper sent out and matching touch up paint. I had to cover a tiny nick on the frame that happened when I moved house. Could be a lovely Christmas present at half the price of new.
  4. Hi, just seeing if anyone is interested in the above bike. I will post a full advert and photos later. It cost £2,200.00 and I am looking for £950. Due to ill health I tried going down the electric bike route but alas, after buying the above bike in February last year, I have to sell it as my health has deteriorated. Only had 2 trips on it, about 10 miles on the clock so it's in amazing condition. The bike has been kept indoors. Has to be collected from near Shrewsbury. Cheers. .
  5. Thanks for the update, Merry Christmas.
  6. Hi David, any news on the Wayfarers please? I ordered earlier in the year and was told October and then November delivery. I know it's been difficult for you, have you a new date in 2022?
  7. I thought the parts on these bikes would be standard cycle parts, not bespoke? Could you fit another companies parts? Gears, brakes, seat post, handlebars etc?
  8. Supply Chain Issues (I'll get my coat) I'm waiting for a whole bike from Wisper, end of November now.
  9. Hi Pea92, sorry to jump in, same subject, I wanted to ask David, am I right in saying, a Wayfarer straight from the factory has a 2 stage throttle, walk along to 4mph, then if you pedal you can throttle to 15.5mph. But "full throttle legal" cuts out the pedalling bit and goes 0mph-15.5mph with feet just resting on pedals, for a fee of £199.00 + £55.00 type approval? Thanks
  10. I've not cycled for 20 years (I'm 59 now) due to a back problem which left me with a weak left leg. My wife wanted a bike to learn to ride (don't ask ) wanted electric to cycle with her friend. Couldn't find one, Covid etc and not being able to shop, so we ordered a cheap Chinese fold-up, Fiido D4S. I had to give it a go ....... amazing, I'm back on 2 wheels! The throttle is the key, kick start, pedal away. Use the throttle at the start, let it go when cycling. My wife said never seen me smile like that. Suffice to say I've ordered a Wisper Wayfarer (legal throttle) for my 60th birthday and as we are moving to Shropshire, country lanes, bridleways here I come.
  11. Can't wait for my Wayfarer Hub Drive Crossbar Adventure in red to come. Pre-ordered, maybe here end of October.
  12. Hi Andy Thanks for that. Yes I imagined alternating like that, but for now I think I'll wait to get a second battery and see how my usage goes. Cheers.
  13. Thanks, yes, that's what I thought. I would presume batteries would still be available for a particular model 2 or 3 years down the line.
  14. Hi, I'm on the waiting list for a Wisper Wayfarer. I've chosen the smaller of the 2 batteries as it is a 60th birthday present from my wife and kept the cost down, I'll buy a spare battery myself. Is it better to buy a spare battery now and store it? (I'm guessing unused batteries don't store well?) Would batteries be stocked for a few years even when the models change? Thanks.
