is it my battery?
hi When i charge my battery up all the power lights on the handlebar show up green. I can cycle to work (about 7 mile) everything ok. When i come home at 12-30am if i hit an incline the power starts to die off then come back again, this get worse as i go along. The lights still show green. The strange thing is when i use the throttle and peddle there seems to be plenty of power left, and i can make it home easily. I spoke to the company they think is faulty battery cell (36v 10ah 18 month old)tried using my wife battery which is the same battery i get the same effect.Could both batteries go at the same time? Anyone shed any light on this,

thule towball cycle carrier
hi looking into getting one of these as ive heard people say there ok to carry e-bikes,and tesco direct have them on sale for £98 for the 2 bike carrier.however when ive looked into it the max load is only 30kg which wont be enough for both bikes (22kg each).even the bigger 3 bike carrier only goes up to max 45kg which is very close to the max of two bikes. So are my bike about average weight and if so are people just using carrier to carry one bike, or ignoring the max weight. any other towball carriers with greater max weight than these? any help wlecome!

upright riding position
- upright riding position
- upright riding position
there was someone on here a little while back talking about how they had changed there handlebars to get a more upright riding position. ive had a problem with my riding position putting too much strain on my forearms and wrists, not much room to highten bars (ahead stem) so was wondering if there are any handlebars that would help without going to extremes, still wont my bike to look modern, not that those that have change look old fashoned (digging a hole here for my self) but you know what i mean. any suggestions please.- non electic bikes
update; borrowed a mates bike today:( think it might of been a case of trying to run before i could walk, but if you dont try you'll never know. thanks for the advice saved me some money there, electric all the way for me!!- non electic bikes
would a shed bike not make it to difficult ie cheap bike, harder work, thats why i was thinking mid range. or does it not make that much difference!- non electic bikes
not sure i know enough to buy from ebay are there many online shops that sell used or refurbish?- non electic bikes
hi had my electric bike for a year now bought from 3E electric bikes (totally love it). but now thinking i might be fit enough to try my 7 mile work commute on a non electric bike:eek: but which one? I know lots of you have ordinary bikes so what to go for, something mid range price wise about £200/£300 cycle 80% road 20% cycle path (potholed)- How many people use their e-bike as their sole form of transport?
could'nt get rid of my car! 4-30am rain bouncing off the road, wind howling, totally wimped out ,then it dawned on me just take the car. try to keep to those really lousy days apart from that its bike most days.- brake block wear
the cyclepath mentioned cuts two or three miles off journey, tried the old mtb style of bum up and let it go, got to bottom to find the chain had bounced off . still four sets off wilko cheap £10 = one set of genuine blocks. - upright riding position
