I think i will have too look at getting it changed to sport mode then. For someone who lives in a flat part of the country and uses the bike to commute i just dont see any value in the embt mode. Andrew

I have a kalkoff with a bosch performance line motor. It has embt assistance level between tour and turbo. Its meant to modulate the assitance between those 2 limits, but i cant seem to make it work in any way consistently. For instance if I am fighting a headwind it seems to give me no more assitance than tour mode. Where as sometimes when going up an small hill it will give me as much assitance as turbo. I assume it measures cadence and possibly the torque applied to the pedals to come to decision on what assitance level to apply. Has anyone experimented to get a better ideal on how to use it ? Andrew
