Thankyou for your help it’s working just fine so I’ll leave it without the front brake connected. I have paid Halfords for their service package and they’ve told me that all the cables would be replaced at the yearly service so I’ll wait for them to sort it then. Just glad it’s working again, it’s a hassle to take it back to Halfords.

Thankyou for this, I moved the wires a bit and found the right one stopped the lights flashing but it still didn’t work so I’ve disconnected both of them and it is now working, at least now I can point out to Halfords the issue of the loose connection on that side. Or is an easy fix to do ourselves and save the trip up there?

Can I ask if anyone has had an issue with the control unit lights flashing? Low/high flashing and it’s not working. I’ve read on here some where about it being a brake level warning. I’ve only been out on it once and have not touched the brakes other than using them normally.
