Have a question someone may be able to answer. My new Scott Sub Active has some kind of "cafe lock" with a key. But it seems the key can only be removed if the lock is closed. Is this correct? Nothing about it in the manual that I can see.

Decided to cancel my Ribble order due to the long waiting times. And yesterday ordered a Scott Sub Active ERIDE online from Pure Electric. And, to my amazement, it was in the back garden (in its packaging) when I got home this afternoon! Now unpacked and had its maiden voyage. Think we'll get on ok. Apart from an annoying scratch on the frame that I've raised with Pure Electric. Still, happy to have the bike

Wondering if anyone knows how to value a second-hand e-bike? An online resource perhaps, or a formula of sorts based on new price, mileage etc?

Before I ordered a medium-sized Ribble Hybrid AL e this week, I used the video call support service. One of the Ribble staff recommended I ordered the small size. Another recommended the medium because it was a hybrid and it would offer a more upright ride. I’m 5ft 7” and 29” inside leg … so on the border of both sizes. Now getting buyer’s anxiety! What if it arrives in 3 months time or longer and medium is the wrong size!!!

I’ve no idea. Just what the Ribble spec says.

Hi I've just ordered a Ribble Hybrid AL e - Blue Fully Loaded Edition. It's my first e-bike and my first any-bike for 20 years! Hope I made the right choice. It is scheduled for delivery towards the end of November. Anyway, during this waiting time, I thought I could acquire some essential gear and accessories. My list so far is: Lock Pannier bags Jacket Shorts Helmet Gloves Trousers Multi-tool Pocket-sized pump Chain lube Inner tube Phone mount Wondering what you think? And is anything missing?
