I have just purchased the ST G4 and for the life of me don't get it ?? Do you have to wear them in (Elastomers) it is doing nothing ? i have a brooks saddle. Is there something i need to adjust to make more bouncy ? i have purchased all the sizes of the elastomers.

Hi All, What should i be doing about punctures' and preventing them ? what do i need to carry ? just read somewhere about slime ? tubeless or tires with inner tubes ? floor pump and electric pumps ? My concern is being caught out in the middle of nowhere . Thanks Mark.

I was so impressed with the ease it alerted my Garmin GPS ,Personally i could not imagine riding without one to be honest. I have excellent hearing anyway , but it way outdoes my ears for sure ! The peace of mind to know there is traffic approaching from behind puts me in a much more readiness should i need to either stop very quickly ,or take action. I feel very alert and switched on with the radar !

Went out today hooked my radar up to my Garmin GPS ,one word WOW !!!

For me its not the price its the comfort, have you had any more thoughts about the brooks saddle? and which one

Hi all, I'm off to the hospital on Friday to orthopaedics as I'm pretty beaten up (knees and back) . When i purchased my bike the chap who helped me said don't go diving into a saddle use the one on the bike and see what you think ? i picked a saddle out he told me this was for a cruiser style bike ? I did read on the site that someone had a rese and muller bike for sale and he was keeping his favourite saddle a Brooks saddle which looked very comfy. Any recommendations ? Hi All, Got my new bike , (Giant Explore + 1 GTS ) and the speed i find can be frustrating being restricted ? very happy overall with my new bike and as a new rider i cant believe how some cars seem to FAFF around when overtaking or deciding to. Which leads me on to my next question to those of greater experience on the road. I find myself obviously being extremely switched on, and conscious of what's going on behind me and listening for alerts from behind. I see Garmin produce a radar , i also note there are a few rear camera and screen products on the market, just wondering how that would work with the glare of the sun ? would be interested to hear others views on such products ? I read that others have said invest in a good mirror ,or just use your neck muscles ? also i have read about cameras in helmets ? Many thanks

just watched the lock picking lawyer ,if you have a e bike don't ever leave it unattended ? any lock can be broken into . So it boils down to where you live ? and the area. anybody have tamper alarms or tracking devices ?

Hi all, So my new bike should be with me this week, and as i have never had a e bike of value before. What is the best security measures i can take, I'm aware of super glue and grinders etc.. can some of you experienced chaps recommend locks ,deterrents, and good insurance company's ? i was just wondering what insurance company's would stipulate ? I have no idea what is even on the market, i prefer to ask people with experience ! Many Thanks.

When i was looking locally i made sure that warranty and servicing wouldn't be a problem for me ,because i don't drive at the moment. my local dealers are all within 15 minutes to 30 minutes away. I did hear a conversation about dealers waiting 6 months to a year for stock while i was there ? The bike dealer that's closest has a big following and is known for sales and service. But i will ask all the above and make sure any foreseeable problems are all on my checklist. part of me wants to go with Bosch (cube) and the other half Giant, i have also discovered a local dealer who retail Haibike who i like as well because of the German link. Many thanks to everybody who has taken the time to respond ,and i am trying to absorb all the information. I really am looking forward entering into the world of E bike's and cant wait. Many Thanks.

Hi all, Went to local retailer yesterday , looked at cube touring hybrid £2499.00 and one i fell in love with was the Giant explore E+1 GTS £3299.00 . just been looking at cube Kathmandu hybrid pro 625 ? for me its definitely between these two manufactures. what ever happens i am going to be a proud e bike owner next week as they are holding the bikes for me. Any comments would be greatly appreciated . many thanks.

Throttle idea has been dropped !

Hi all, I'm looking for a e bike that i can go and get my shopping on until i get a car .The bike will be used to whizz around town and to be used for runs out into the country side for enjoyment and fitness. I would like a Aluminium frame and as many gears as i can get, decent suspension, Throttle and pedal assist , must have a decent rack on the back for cargo (shopping bags) ,adjustable handlebars, hydraulic disc brakes, good quality battery with a decent range. That's as far as my google/ you tube search has come up with ? I never seriously realised that finding a e bike would be so stressful ? I would like to spend about £2,500 on a bike ? I'm so confused and worried that ill be making a mistake and when i purchase one ill then see one and think why didn't i buy that ? Being autistic doesn't help when your trying to make your mind up ? can anyone try and guide me to a retailer ,or the bikes that others use and come highly recommended . I'm 6'1" and weigh about 16 stone . Many thanks.
