  1. When i first got it i posted on here as the reported mileage is 62 miles but when i charged it up to 100% the Mahle app reported only 30 miles range After the ride tonight i checked the app and it states battery is 70% with 27 miles left Im out on a 15 mile ride on thursday and will check again but will be recharging it to full for a 40 mile ride on saturday which will give me a better idea I am currently running it in tour mode but i also have eco, sport and custom modes The bike is only 16kg which probably helps a lot with the battery requirements Godzy
  2. Like many others i am finding inclines, particularly the long long ones with not much %, much easier The one on my local quick scoot just seems to go on and on when im on my hybrid or road bike and wasnt getting any easier I now no longer have to have a breather half way along it Godzy
  3. Quick 7 mile scoot and its solved the problem Thank you again Godzy
  4. Thank you for the reply sj Much appreciated I will try your suggestion and see what happens Im new to ebikes so dont really have an idea on this one
  5. Hello all Have read about all the problems with the Mahle app but ive not come across this one I completed a ride yesterday and i only used the assistance when i felt i needed it on hills When i got back and checked the app it reported that the battery was 90% but the range was 0 miles I closed the app completely and tried again but it still says the same Can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening The bike is an Orbea Vibe H30 John
  6. Thank you good sir
  7. Ah ok Makes a lot of sense Thank you again to everyone for the answers Im getting out on a decent (for me anyway) ride at the weekend and will try it out and see what the app says at the end Ride is a mixture of flats and hills Just done a short 8 mile test ride and the battery is at 86% but the range has gone up to 37 miles
  8. Might be a daft question but thats only when assistance is on yes? More than happy to pedal and just turn the motor in when needed
  9. Battery is now fully charged and i have linked it to the Mahle app which states a 25 mile range? The bike is supposed to do 62 mile on a full charge Have i done something wrong?
  10. Im in BL4 area which is nr Bolton
  11. Thank you all Will definately take everything into consideration and especially after watching that video As i originally stated this is my 1st ebike and i certainly dont want to burn the house down with it - the mrs wouldnt be too happy lol
  12. Thanks for the reply Pretty sure its lithium The bike is an Orbea Vibe H30 John
  13. Hi everyone Just got my first ebike and am looking for a bit of general advice about charging the battery Am i better to let the battery run out of charge or can i recharge it to full even if its only partially empty Sorry if its a dumb question lol Thanks for any replies John
  14. Thanks Matthew The rides i do are generally up to 35 miles and i would probably be lloking to have no assistance on any flat sections but as its my 1st E-Bike i'm not too clued up on what to look for Il have a further read of the posts on here and it will hopefully give me more of an idea The shop i have seen it is in Surrey and im in Manchester so a test ride isnt viable unless i can find it elsewhere John
  15. Hello all Looking to buy my first e-bike and have currently decided on the Bianchi Impulso All Road TRK Disk The only thing holding me back is the I-WOC system as i'm not sure about the placement of the mode selector with it being on the downtube I have seen the IWOC trio add on that puts a selector on the handlebars but have read of a couple of problems with the quality of the unit Anyone use the trio or the iwoc or even has the bike that can advise I am open to looking at other bikes if there are any suggestions around the same price Im a member of the British Cycling/Lets Ride and mostly go on their guided rides which are on canal paths, some roads and trails so the Bianchi looks to fit the bill for me I have a Pinnacle Hybrid and a B-Twin road bike but am struggling on the hills when riding on the road hence the reason for buying a new bike Thanks in advance for any replies John
