You can all stop looking now thanks, my stolen Giant Lafree has turned up on E bay, half a mile down the road. Someone bid a pound more than I did,( at £51 at the last minute). I was unable to stop Ebay. But the fuzz collected it. Contrary to usual police methods, they let me have it straight back, but by the same token as far as I know no serious action against three adults involved But the anonymous phone calls have started!!!

I have a good 12 volt NiMH and panasonic charger from a 2003 Lafree ( which got nicked) I ma looking at 2 (2006) lafrees on the net right now which claim to have 24 volt NiMH batteries. when did they change from 12 to 24 volts? can the 12 volt charger be modified to do a 24 volt battery? I am bidding for a bike halfway across uk.Is there any courier who will pick up a naked bike and deluiver it? Is there any way it can go on a train unaccompanied? Stolen step through Giant Lafree Silver 2003 ladies size step through Giant Lafree twist model stolen from our garage in Torquay .10 /11 Sept They didnt get the NIMH battery, so will want one,or dump the bike eventually Crank drive by chain through rear Hub gears, It would be identifiable by the fit of our key !!! Id appreciate a call from any one who knows of a Twist mk 1 without a battery, as our battery is in excellent shape and can still be used Wilyflier
