  1. Thanks shemozzle999 everything was working fine till I changed the Battery for a new one , it doesn't now read over 4 mph so I put the old battery Back in and working o.k. again , thought there might have been A difference in the battery chemistry or something. I do believe The Duracell battery is made up of button cells.
  2. Thanks d8veh, not the wrong way round but i will recheck the contacts.
  3. I changed the original chinese battery a TOMO 23a 12v super Alkaline for a Duracell M21/23 in my wireless cycle computer and it doesn't work ,put the old battery back in works fine . The old battery 11.6v new battery 12.3v . Can anyone tell me is there a diference between the batteries.
  4. I have given lots of people test rides on my Wisper 905 , but usualy they have their wives with them or a Rucksac or some personal object that they leave with me , of course they are all pleasently surprised and want one.
  5. Hi Pharisee, you mention itermittant connection problems , this wouldnt happen to be the motor pulsing or surging every so often would it, That is what is happening to my Wisper .
  6. Hi , can anyone tell me why my 2 year old Wisper 905se some times surges as I am riding in any mode. It doesn't seem to do it when I first ride the bike it seems to do it when I remount after half an hour or so. It does settle down after a while . I don't ride in the rain so I don't think it's water ingress. Thanks for any suggestions.
  7. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and humour. I did buy a trailer for my last dog but she was to uncomfortable in it . You are on my wave length Flecc and what you suggest is what I will do , I have always criticised people riding bikes with there unsuitable dogs trying to keep up but you are right about a Collies work ethic.
  8. I bought a new Wisper Sport 905 in October 2010. The reason I bought the bike was to get me out and about and get some exercise, because my elderly dog , full of arthritis , could not walk far so I used to nip off and have the odd hour or two to myself. But things have changed , the dog has died and I have Border collie puppy that I got in November last year. Now the bike is not getting used , I can't leave a very active young dog in the house while i go off on my bike , that's not the way i am with my Collies. If it was a normal bike I would keep it and use it when necessary but you can't keep an electric bike With the cost of a new battery as they are not being used. I don't want to part with it but there doesn't seem to be a choice, any suggestions .
  9. Found this for you Claud Butler Sabre 20" - Girls - 2010 £135.99 from The Bike Outlet. Also found a couple on E-bay.
  10. Spoke key size Hi, I have had my wisper 905 sport se since October and I am delighted with it. I have been getting myself some tools together, just bought a 3.3 mm spoke key after seeing recommendations on here but find it doesn't fit. Can anybody help with the correct size please.
