    Tried that. Having opened the case I have measured the voltage across the battery terminals. It is 10v so the battery is confirmed as permanently dead. I suspect that it was a faulty BMS.

    The 17Ah Impulse battery on my Kalkhoff eBike will not accept charge. I have tried using an identical charger to no avail so it is not a charger fault. The bike display shows the battery as partly discharged and the motor works fine. I have stopped using the bike until I find out what is wrong with the battery. The battery is about 4 years old and has probably been charged about 20-30 times. Any suggestions much appreciated.
