Hi Aldbi.Do you have any more of the sprint NiMH batteries,I would like to revive my old sprint if I can do it economically. Still using the bike I got from you aannddyy. regards to all brigaf.
  2. cycle route 1 try riding to great casterton, then tickencote, ketton and other rutland hamlets 2 Ride up empingham rd to Rutland Water. 3 Along by the river to Barnack Road,at Barnack turn right through Southorpe,Along the A47 for a mile to the roundabout then through Castor and Ailsworth up Loves Hill and into Ferry Meadows. All good rides. .
  3. Thankyou for the bike Andy and especially for delivering it to Stamford. It is the most grown up ebike I have had. My first was a low price chinese import, very heavy with only single low gear but it did reintroduce me to cycling after a stroke and gave me back some independence. It was sold to a friend and is still used by him. My second bike .an ezee sprite was bought through the pedelecs forum classifieds. Obviously this was a great improvement and I travelled far and wide on it for about 3 years. the battery is now failing.A replacement was needed.I had decided to add a motor to a mountain bike and had already sourced a bike when I saw aaannndddyyy's post in the classified section.we agreed a price to include delivery and the bike is now mine.I am very pleased with it's cool appearance and the riding experience is so much more like an ordinary bike.I am really looking forward to getting to know my new steed.
  4. helmets I have just bought a "ribcap" .Google it!. will let you know how I go on.
  5. propstands Thanksto apedelecs Forum. I have bought and fitted a Plescher propstand from SJS.Not cheap at £30 but an excellent piece of kit.Tricky to fit because the Ezee Sprint has little clearance to locate and tighten the allen screw fixing, but mission accomplished. thankyou all.
  6. prop stand falure my ezee sprint, bought second hand from this site some 2 years ago,has had hard use but is still sound and on the original battery.a couple of punctures have been the only problems up to now,but the propstand plate broke yesterday:a fatigue fracture near where the mounting plate has a right angle bend, looks if it has been failing for some time, the break is part shiny metal part rusted. this may convince my wife that I really need a new bike, not.

  11. update ? any news on the Mistral.
  12. The Synergie Mistral is built in Scotland. It offers an amazing specification for £400. its well worth looking up their forum synergieusergroup, where the Pedelec forum is well recommended. I am considering a change of bike so would be interested in any feedback.
