no sorry dident ask he just said its not uncommen and im afraid to look as running best its ever been ,i guess the speed limits have been removed on the levels which has made it nicer . problem is i'm not good on computors so whilst ok with speeed ap talking about diferant ports ect on a computor might has well speaking double dutch .

hi guys , update on problem, sent the motor to gytis at bafanger as i was at the end of my tether with it , it did indeed need programing properly as advised becous somthing i did with speed app upset the controller he also found anouther fault with a stiff bearing. Gytis also programed it for max battery range and the riding experiance is perfect, highly recomended service. thanks for all the assistance from everybody

yes thats as writen , fidled about a bit but nothing made any differance,put the speeed app on display and still the same fault , looks like pinning hopes on new motor part just annoying the time it takes to get here from greenbike kit,when i eventually get around to programing it properly i could use some settings for max range as power can go right down as not needed ,we do a fair milage but only potter at 13mph max,all on tracks .bit like last of the summer wine on wheels , did use the speed app at first then got the eggrider as the on /off road may be ussful

ah ok couple of things there , i used the speed app initially and have a extra display but i did set the speed in 0 to 1 and 1 to try to get throttle working but it wont anyway , the walk assist works though. im not compatant to start cutting and joining wires i dont think but i am off tomorrow so will have a go with missisus laptop, to be honest im not off the digital age so am on my limits dealing with this stuff onc it strays from the simple,unfortunatly there is nobody around chesterfield or even anyware other than taking engine out and sending it away that could program it , i will try them tips first thing in morning thanks

cheers for that info , il dig into it later in week but meanwile have orded the motor part with armeture as it s the only electrical bit iv not changed ,cant see anything in the settings that could couse that fault but will still borrow the mississ laptop later in the week , i did up the low speed cutoff to no avail. im sure it will turn out to be something iv done but treble checked everything iv touched ,

can get on tablet but wont connect to a port,possibly not available on tablet, looks a nice interface though , any way returned settings to factory and double checked to no availe, just kicks in with more power above set speed,checked all the settings now with speeed and eggrider and nothing not set properly , might see if missis will lend her laptop but not keen ,

have just put on my tablet so will give it a go shortly ,im not exactly technical so am sweating already , a lot happy er with mechanical stuff

more noticable in higher settings , definatly need read a few times and print off also good idea to reset to factory settings , i have the programing tool but not got a laptop so not able to set using computor , will give it a go in the morning cheers

thanks for that, went thro settings again today with eggrider app a nd nothing had changed ,ill have a look at penoffs settings with configeration tool and also double checked rear wheel magnet . am now thinking could it be the electronics attached to inside of motor,looks like its better to get the complete motor and rotor unit to be on safe side .

yes i set it to external motor meter, or thought i had ,is that correct please

i did spend some time on getting the magnet pretty close to the sensor.after i fitted new controler the display was giving me error code 21 and cutting drive ,did work ok after i changed sensor. I did set the settings exactly to what i used before but did use the speeed app,i also checked them with eggrider app but cant remember seeing motor magnets or speedsensor in the choices, however the fault developed after i re programed it so could be iv fouled it up somhow , il have a look tommorow

ah , thats the one i changed thinking it was the only one ,do u think it could be the one inside the motor housing, thanks for your help by the way as had got to the end of the line with it, at least il know a fair bit about them when its done.

yes see what you mean now theres a circuit buord inside the motor , could that be the culprit do you think and is it possible to replaice just that

oh i dident know that, i replaiced the magnetic disc and small electonic pickup that the wires go into black connector in controller ,pressume thats the one that reads magnetic disc , ill chech the wheel magnet and pickup again but it is blinking when wheel passes it and reading speed
