First of all, thank you ever so much for posting a thorough log of what you did to your Somerby, you inspired me to have a go. I've got one too but it bit the dust recently as the display became waterlogged and failed. On reading about all the sagas people have trying to find the matching replacement (there are several that all look the same but aren't!) I decided to go for the same upgrade as you. I have a question regarding a throttle implementation if you have time - do you know how I can be sure to set it up in a road legal way (limited to low speed with cut out if you stop pedalling)? Have you had any issues?
