Ebike battery renewal
Thanks, the green connector connects to the LCD, the black 9 pin connector is the only one without a mate so assume that is for the PAS. I will order the kit from the link you shared (including the LCD) and will pass on the current LCD, thanks again for the time and input

Photos below, there a 4 cables from the controller 2 larger power cables (1 to battery, 1 to hub) photos of the other two connectors are attached Nothing I can find on Google for a standard PAS sensor matches (most have the yellow plug end) and the only Torque sensing ones I can find are Bafang and they dont give an image of the connector

Ebike battery renewal
So this is now turning personnel and I am more motivated by beating the bike than actually needing it working. Good news is after some searching finally found the controller in the down tube and it appears to be a KT (model KT36SVPR-CK02) which I guess is why the display worked and it looks like I now only need a compatible PAS sensor. I found an online review of the bike which said it used "torque sensing pedal assist", question is can I just ignore this and go for a regular PAS sensor and if you do I need a KT compatible one, or just any with the right connection (the sensor socket on the controller is a 6 pin female connector)

Don't know the bike was picked up by my dad at an auction and the display and bottom bracket were both missing, the controller on it I found on ebay and took a chance as it looked the same as the photos of the bike I found on google. I'll get the controller out tomorrow and see where that leads Really appreciate all the help though

Managed to find a review which confirm its a Torque sensing PAS (which probably explains why it was missing), so the fun continue

Thanks for the response, enjoying the challenge of trying to resurrect the bike, but as the bike manufacturer are defunct documentation on the model is impossible to find Again thank you so much for the help, there is no silver box so guess I'll need to take the battery out again to find the controller. Re: the bottom bracket, yes there is a open connector which I though might have been for a sensor, but though because the display was registering speed and allowing the walk mode might have been for something less significant but the PAS sensor makes perfect sense, are they bike or controller specific as I cant find any documentation to see what the manufacturer fitted

Ebike battery renewal
Seems I keep digging up this old thread - So I managed to find a local company (DMC Battery replacements Glasgow - highly recommended great service) who re-celled my battery for £180. Connected to the bike and everything powers on ok. The battery is installed and charges fine, the controller powers on and lets me configure it, the walk assist works and the display registers my speed however I don't actually seem to be getting any assist when riding. I am not sure if anything else is missing of the bike sensor wise should there be magnets or anything around the pedals to send signal to the controller? Is there anyone on the site with one of these with a manual for this or who could look at the attached images and advise? Also the controller was missing when I got the bike so I purchased a replacement (its a Emotoer KT-LCD7) and I have downloaded the controller manual and followed the basic configuration, some of the later config stuff is way beyond me. Again would these be shown in the bike manual? Not sure if the connector should be to a sensor or is for brake or throttle control Controller model Thanks Mark

Not had any luck yet, removal of the battery is a bit of a pain (assuming I didn't find a harder way to do it) I had to remove the silver plate at the front and then take of the front forks to get access to the battery Do you have a charger? , If yes could you confirm the power details and size of the plug end that goes into the bike?

Ebike battery renewal
Its not something I had considered, bit I will try getting a charge into it first and if it is dead will probably give this a go (after I do a bit of reading)

Dont know if it works yet, its certainly been flat (or dead) since its arrived, will take a photo of the charging port when i get home from work, only thing I have found on-line are sales listing which list a 6.8Ah LI-ON battery. Worst case I have an ok (if a little heavy) bike for short journets

Hello
Hi Everyone, based in Glasgow, relatively new to E-biking and currently riding an old Cube mountain bike fitted with Swytch kit (and also trying to resurrect a Vitesse Signal for the wife), enjoying it so far and trying not to look at the shiny new bikes until I prove I am going to stick with riding all year round

Ebike battery renewal
Sorry to resurrect an old conversation, but I have picked up a Vitesse Signal (via auction) and the bike has come without any documentation or charger, does anyone know the charger make/model or the correct voltage so I can source an alternative?
