Thankyou. I have tried holding the buttons down and nothing happens so I presume you can't change it. As I said I also looked at the controller and nothing there. Not even a magnet on the wheel as I know some bikes can be sped up that way.

I took the controller box out. There wasn't really anywhere else to look I'm afraid.

I managed to get the controller out but couldn't find anyway of doing it. I did manage to make the throttle stop working though lol. Still works fine on pedal assist though.

Hey everyone has anyone successfully deristrictwd one of these bikes? I have tried all the things I can find online but nothing has worked.

Hi all I have recently purchased a used bike the same as this. It is great but I also have looked in to "deristricting" it. I can confirm that I have managed to remove the controller and it seems as though there are two lots of wires not connected to anything but do not match each other. Did the poster ever find a way to do this or can anyone offer any assistance. Thankyou.
