  6. Hey everyone. Here's a bit of an odd question for you all. So i have finally found a buyer for my wisper, problem is he wants proof of ownership and i lost the reciept and stupidly never registered the bike. Any suggestions. p.s this is a lesson in keeping reciepts and registering your bikes when you buy them. Thanks
  7. 7Ah battery....... hmmmmmm is that not a bit small
  8. Does anyone know where i could get new fuse holders for my wisper 905. Still havn't fixed my bike but i think a new fuse holder is worth a try. Thanks
  9. Hi sorry. I'm located in northern ireland. Willing to ship it though
  10. Hi guys I'm selling my wisper 905 se sport. the bike is around 7 mths old. it is faulty at the moment but it should be an easy enough fix. The battery is working but when i turn the key no power goes to the motor. display on handles bars lights up and front headlight comes on but nothing else working. I want to sell it as i'm no longer using e-bikes and it would cost me too much to ship it to get fixed and then ship it again to sell so if anyone is interested could you please pm me. The bike is in great condition apart from this wee flaw. I'm not sure of the cost of fixing it but i am offering the bike at around £850 which i think is a fair deal. let me know what ya think Cheers
  11. Hi David Thanks for reply. nope the problem has not been resolved yet. Do you think it is something i could fix myself or do i need to ship the bike off to get repaired? Any ideas? Thank you
  12. thanks for replies guys.
  13. hi guys my wisper 905 se is not working. when i turn the key the front light comes on but nothing else is working...... i checked the fuses but replacemnts made no difference. i can't figure out what's wrong..... any advice also is anyone interested in buying it from me....... it prob a simple fix well i hope but its just too hard to get things fixed in NI so i think i'm gonna stop using ebikes
  14. O.k so it seems that it may be the fuses that have given up on my wisper bike. Does anyone know where i can buy replacement ones. They seem smaller than normal 5 amp fuses and i cant find a 20 amp anywhere. Any help please ?
  15. Hi Frank ha ha i wish i was having a wee joke but nope its true. Parked up bike to run in and grab jacket and when i came out there was a little puddle and a very pleased looking pug Can't upload photos i'm afraid. no camera. Now there is no gaurantee the bike was fine before the pug incident as i hadn't used it in a few days so this could be a very weird coincidence....
  16. O.k so i'm pretty sure the controller is dry........ not sure it got wet in the first place.... when i disconnect the red and black wires the light goes off so i'm guessing these connect battery to light? but when i plug them back in the same problem persists..... Can not get power level indicators on handlebars to do anything and no power assist to pedals.. ( I've tryed pedalling anyway) Is it possible water is in the motor... Hmmm this is really frustrating...... Any other ideas flecc. oh and thank you for your previous post.....
  17. Hi guys I have a problem maybe some of you can figure out. My pug peeded against my wisper 905 sport. Now when i turn on the battery the front headlight comes on but i cannot get it to turn of or to power on the box on the handlebars as usual. I took out the controller unit and all and had a wee look but all seems fine and properly connected, oh and dry I removed the battery and replaced it hoping this would somehow reboot everything or something but it hasn't worked. Any ideas? Thanks
  18. Hi guys I have a problem maybe some of you can figure out. My pug peeded against my wisper 905 sport. Now when i turn on the battery the front headlight comes on but i cannot get it to turn of or to power on the box on the handlebars as usual. I took out the controller unit and all and had a wee lokk but all seems fine and properly conncect oh and dry Tried to remove the battery to maybe just like re boot it but i can't get it to slide out of its cradle. How do i remove the battery and where is the connecter that connects it to the bike? Thanks
  19. that's a fair point lol altough it arrived when i was at work and he thought he was doing a good deed. I'm not mad at him really though i am def the handy one in the house
  20. After a pedal came off today on me i discovered that when my bf assembled my new wisper he put the pedals on the wrong sides. RAGIN!!!! I've inspected them any yep he's ruined the threads on the crank arm on the left hand side. Can these be re threaded or do i need a new crank arm. also how should i punish bf. grrrrrrrrrrr
  21. On new models the loop is located in the controller box just under battery. just remove the little white loop. it can also be plugged in again easily to abide by law.
  22. oops i meant thanks eddIEO :o
  23. Thanks eddio That is straightforward. I did ask about the button and as they said there was legal uncertainties about it i just left it at that. I'd like the extra few mph but it's defo not a necessity for me Thanks everyone for there comments so far.
  24. just a wee note. i only asked the bike shop. i did not contact wisper in case there's any confusion. :o
