  1. Hi Dave I have had a Kudos Sport for 2 months and can't thank you enough for providing such a fantastic bike at such an a great price. Also no one has noticed its an electric bike until I point out the battery and motor I only ever really use top gear even starting off but it would been a plus to have had a higher gear to reduce pedal revolutions at 15mph or to speed up downhill which is easy using leg power only. However this is not a criticism as the bike has exceeded all my expectations.
  2. Cheersfor the link it was interesting and I liked your photos Did you decide not to have a pannier rack? Might try a trailer
  3. Thanks for that Jazper Have now found the fuse holder-must wear my glasses more often!! Re seat post frame I only weigh 11 stone so the stress on the seat post frame may not be such a worry for me.What did was my 6ft 4" 23 stone Brother-in-law taking my bike out the other day but it seems to have survived Don't think he would get as many miles per charge as I hope to!!!
  4. Hi Forum Just had my first week on a Kudos Sport and it has been great.I have heart problems I am unable to cycle too far but an electric bike has opened up miles of country lanes for me At the weekends I like to set off at 4am and look for birds and wildlife.I used to be a milkman!!! Just about to fit a mountain mirrycle so I don't have to keep looking over my shoulder and not see a pothole ahead!! Also tried a "Universal Car Towbar Mounted 2 Cycle Carrier" today which cost less than £14 seemed to work well and will be great for going to areas further away and then exploring them by bike. Couple of questions if anyone can help 1.Does anyone know where the fuse is on the bike and how to gain access to it. It did come with 2 spare fuses 2.Given the position of the battery has anyone managed to fit a pannier on the rear and if so which one.It looks like a seat post carrier would be ideal but with a couple of extra struts for extra support.I haven't found any suppliers who give any measurements Thanks for any help One happy "Pedelecer"
  5. Cheers Stevebills My sisters Bank was useless and said they could only write to the Company and request a repayment in the same way she could. Some Banks seem to be better than others and Natwest specifically mentions help with chargebacks in their guide Can't believe this company can still take orders and payments if they are not going to supply.Surely this is fraud and a criminal offence. Will be contacting Trading Standards tomorrow to see if they can close their website so nobody else becomes a victum
  6. I ordered an electric bike for my sister who is recently disabled and wanted an electric bike instead of a disability scooter as it would handle footpaths better which she misses going on.Oh well back to the wheelchair! Note Visa Debit Chargeback is a non starter-Banks don't seem to want to know!!
  7. Has anyone information on Abbey Cycles :: Liverpool Their website is still active and they have some good discounts but I have been unable to reach them on their telephone numbers which have been engaged for the last few days and now numbers not recognised They also don't answer their emails. They also promise delivery within 3/5 days but our order has still not been delivered after 2 weeks and I have tel'd several of their suppliers who had not had any orders from them for a long time Thanks for any help
