Oxygen Emate City I am selling my Oxygen Emate City. It has recently been serviced, new back derailleur, new chain and general service. It has been used well over 18 months, the battery still holds enough for 40 miles each charge, this would be variable (it used to do 70 miles). I charge each commute now. You would have to pick up / collect, I live in central Edinburgh. I thought I 'd put it up here first before Gum-tree and then maybe eBay. I would accept £750 or nearest offer. It cost me £1,450 from 50cycles and has about 3 months warranty left. Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to put this but here goes. I just want some feedback. I am thinking of selling my Oxygen Emate City Electric Bike. I have used it for over a year and done approx 2,700 miles. Its 14 months old. I have had many punctures and changed the tyres to Schwalbe City Jet. I cycle to work and got the bike for £1400. What is a decent resale amount for the condition and age. It does not do the 70 miles off one charge anymore, probably more like 40 but not at full power. Its not as white and shiney as it was, I live in Scotland and did a wee bit of off road during the floods. The reason for sale is that whilst I apprecciate the benefits of Electric Bikes I feel being a diabetic I need to put in the exercise. Thanks, Robin

I am a newbie Electric Cyclist on my Oxygen Emate City. I have got 60 miles so far out of the battery, its still at 2 LEDS at standstill. Should I charge now before an 8 mile cycle tommorow morning, or charge after (at work). I am meant to run the battery low before re-charging. What do folk think? Thanks, Robin

Hi all, A newbie here, but I have been looking at this site for while. I am about to take the plunge for an ebike. I really like the look and spec of the Oxygen E mate City. It fits all my needs. Oxygen Emate City - city and commuting electric bike I made some calls around some local shops in Edinburgh, they really tried to put me off saying Oxygen are Chinese imports. Anyone know different? I have leaning go with my hunch, some of the reviews of the Oxygen bikes are really good, but there's not that many. I am time limited as my work does the cycle scheme but only in May.
