About Me

I’m David from the UK. I run escootersandbikes.com where I write honest reviews and guides based on real use, not just specs.

I’ve done over 1500km on my own e-bike (DYU A5), so I know what these bikes are actually like day to day, especially on UK roads and in real weather.

Before this, I was in the Army, so I’m used to testing gear properly and being straight about what works and what doesn’t.

Outside of that I play golf and football, and I’m always happy to help anyone getting into e-bikes or looking for something that actually suits their needs.
