I do not know how many of the members on Pedelecs have Kalkoff bikes, since their HeyDay was about 10-15 years ago, but was wondering if anyone has any information on Mod's available for the Kalkoff: Primarily looking to see if there is some type of Mod to enable the walking speed throttle to work as a full throttle? Any MODS to increase assist speed beyond 25mph Anyone complete a new mid-engine change from the original Panasonic engine to a newer version that includes a throttle. I know this might be expensive but I have a 4,000 Euro bike thats just been sitting here since new

I have a new 2010 Kalkoff Proconnect S, that has been in storage since I purchased it from 50Cycles. The Panasonic battery will not charge, so the Li Ion batteries are probably dead. How can I either get a new battery or have this one reconditioned, without paying for an amount equal to a new ebike?
