  1. Hi, these are the adapters on the Oxydrive kit. Will I have to cut them so I can fit a new LCD screen? Can
  2. Hi Neal, A guy called Dave has said he has a new oxydrive battery so that may be the way to go. I am interested in your LCD. Would it plug into the existing 3 pin slot where the existing one goes. The speed sensor has a little ‘plug’ on the end of it that goes into slot where the other components plug into Cheers, Zack
  3. Hi Neal, I am in Market Harborough. Thank you for your time. I am generally good with diy but have never soldered before. I paid quite a lot for the oxydrive kit and I hate just disposing of things. I do not have the bits to fibreglass the battery casing. Additionally, the LCD screen seems to be pretty bad quality and the kit has not been particularly reliable. I researched kits and even purchased my trek bike to match the colours of it. However, it has been disappointing in the main
  4. Just deciding whether to try and repair my oxydrive kit or start fresh. I have owned it for a number of years but have only done 20 miles on it due mainly to having a long term health condition. Cheers, Zack
  5. Hi, morning sure info this thread is dead but I need help with my oxydrive battery. I have tried Andrew at oxydrive but no response. My battery is completely dead. I wondered if I could Get a new battery Andy casing as the casing is cracked. I live in Market Harborough just in case anyone is near.
  6. Hi, thank you for the input. The battery base is broken but could probably be glued. I am not sure if it is best to write it off and start again but that seems to be a costly path. D8veh had a battery but he seems to have disappeared from the site.
  7. Hi, I have an oxydrive kit which has had little use but the battery has failed after 20miles and the battery housing has been broken (dropped a chop saw on it). I was wondering that since the company has gone bust could I put a new battery and housing on it. I know very little about wiring but I did manage to fit the original kit (was pretty straightforward and needed no soldering) I think the motor is 250w. Cheers, Zack
  8. Hi, do you have a second hand battery? Cheers, Zack
  9. Hi, just changed the max speed and it worked for 400 metres then stopped again. Power metre shows full power and all lights light up on battery. May be the battery but could it be the controller?
  10. Just going to do it now
  11. Are
  12. I have charged the battery. Could it be the battery D8veh even though it has only done 10km? On throttle only it gives a 'spurt' of power then stops Cheers, Zack
  13. I have the first generation oxydrive kit, which has had very little use. I have the problem that when I change the assist level it stops working. It does work on level 0 but when I change it to level 1,2,3,4,5 it will not work. I would really appreciate any advice. Cheers, Zack
  14. Hi d8veh, i have only done about 35km on this one so it is a little frustrating that it is not charging. I am not sure how much I will use the bike due to my health so I was trying to keep the costs to a minimum. Do you think that there will be much difference between repairing and getting a new one. I do not have much electrical knowledge or equipment. However, I could have a go. A couple of years ago, I contacted you about getting a bit more power to the bike. I'm not sure where we got to and wondered if this is costly or even possible? Cheers, g
  15. hi, can u tell from the battery as I am not sure?
