  1. MikeB brakes Cheers Chaps Have found out that they are Zoom (Should have looked a little better) but no model indicated, perhaps there is only one model:confused: Will bet in touch with Norman I think and see what can be done. Appreciate the collegiate attitude, very inspiring. Mike
  2. Works 905e Brake Systems My model is fitted with a Zoom front calliper which has been superb for the last 17 months or so, ok a little adjustment has been required which is really easy due to allen key access through the wheel spokes, All I need is a new set of pads as they are about to grind the disc away:mad: The levers are very loose and wobble about due to wear in the level pivots, the water seals on the cable(electric) entry points are rubbish, switches are disconnected to stop constant cutting out, if seal have been improved since Oct 07 delivery, I could do with a set, please advise on cost etc. Rear brakes are Shimano Vtype (or appear to be) and work fine, have replaced a few sets of blocks (old timer term). Did have all the cables changed at the first service last Easter due to poor action (according to my local bike man) and the bottom bracket was also changed along with the head bearings which were the main reason for booking the service as it was getting very notchy (the steering) apart from that all is fine and these bits didn't exactly cost the earth, the bottom bracket is ready for changing again this year. So Dave price and availablility please for Zoom Pads and seals for switches if poss. Cheers Mike
  3. Identifying disc brake type Thanks Frank I have a Wispa 905e works (Oct 07) and am about to run on metal as the front pads are very low. local chaps can't supply due to oddball type. How did you find out what type/model that is fitted to yours? Cheers MikeB--Derby
  4. Thanks David I shall be on the phone today Mike
  5. Hi flecc I have used wikis for teaching and without a facility that sends an email notification when certain action have been made I would have been constantly watching the pages. It really streamlined the process. Not an expert but I would have thought a similar function could be made available, it might need some reorganisation on the forum to accommodate a refined process.
  6. Thanks Flec. Isn't there an RSS feed system that could be set up for that purpose, alleviating what appears to be an extremely heavy workload on your part! Not sure how it could be done tho', just a thought. MikeB
  7. This is really aimed at Wisper but as they have requested a new thread when posting questions here it is. 1.--Which side of the handlebar is the "throttle" located? 2.--What colour is the current 905e, black or dark blue? 3.--It is Tuesday Evening, could they have a bicycle delivered by Friday? (to my work address). Thanks MikeB
  8. Thanks It could be confusing thats for certain Thanks again Mike
