  1. Thanks Jim I'll give it a try. Phil
  2. Hi Jim I'm sorry to say that I not only bought it online but from Amazon themselves. I will try to contact their customer services but I don't expect them to be much use short of me sending the whole bike back. I can see now it was probably a mistake to buy online but it was just £499 including delivery. I probably should have bought a make from a dealer that was within striking distance of home as I expect to have service/repair problem in the future. Regards Phil
  3. Hi all I bought a new Cyclamatic Power Plus about six weeks ago. When it arrived I topped up the charge in the battery. The charger has a red power on light and a charge light which is red until the battery is fully charged and then it turns green. After about 90 mins the light went to green and I unplugged it. Since then no matter how long I leave it plugged in for, the charge light has never turned green. I have now noticed that when left for a long period and the charge light is still red, but if I switch the power off momentarily and then switch it back on the light comes on green immediately. My worries are two fold: 1) That I'll damage the battery by over charging and 2) that if the charger or battery is playing up after six weeks the problems may increase in the future. I would be grateful if anybody could help. Regards Phil
  4. Thanks Bill. That sounds like a better solution. I'll have a look on line. Regards Phil
  5. Hi I've found a partial solution to my problm which has been staring me in the face. My Cyclamatic sits next to my small Harley model 48 which has mirrors that sit under the h/bars. I've now mounted my mirror on the cyclamatic in a similar position and have a not ideal view of what's behind me. Ironically the stem now proves to be a bit too long but it might be a way forward. Phil
  6. Thanks again Indalo. I had considered this option but didn't really want to start chopping the grip about unless there was no other option. I'm not sure how I good replace the grip it I wanted to later as it sits partially covered by the "throttle" Regards Phil
  7. Many thanks Indalo. I let you know if I find one. Regards Phil
  8. Hi I've just bought a Cyclamatic Power Plus hoping I can get back into a bit of cycling after thirty odd year break during which time I've become fat and unfit as well as old. I've lots of questions to ask about it all: but for the moment I'm trying to find a mirror with a long enough "stalk" to give me a veiw of something other than my right arm. I'm amazed that they don't seem to be readily available. I already bought two and they have both been rubbish. Can anybody help please? Phil
