Not from London
But London's still behind Yorkshire.

For fellow Mac Users (Trojan)
Good grief! The 1991 attack of the German Folk Songs sounds scary.

Thanks, Tim, I checked mine last week when it was reported on the BBC website. I too run Sophos which is free.

Women & mobiles????????
I'm with Lynda on this. A different bag for each different purpose - why carry more than you need to? Eg, if going to Sizergh only need NT card and enough dosh for an ice-cream - will fit in camera bag. All-day walk will require sarnies and Kia-Ora, and camera.

Any ideas how come?
Lynda, can't wait!

Any ideas how come?
I have never seen even one ebike round here (Yorkshire Dales). Most bikes I see are unassisted mountain bikes ridden by incredibly fit 20-something men who seem to enjoy pedalling like the clappers up a 20% gradient.

Pity the colour blind!
That sounds like Sir Humphrey from Yes Minister!

Women & mobiles????????
We don't get bothered with that walking in the Dales - the pests can't get a signal.

Hello from Iver Heath, Bucks
Hi Rob, I'm new here, too and will enjoy hearing about your new bike.

Hi there! from the Yorkshire Dales
Thanks, Bob, we'll see. We have both been looking at your bikes online this evening and love the look/details of the 'Sport' but it's probably too big for me.

Hi there! from the Yorkshire Dales
Thanks, Gray. I will consider it, it sounds very good. I need a powerful one to get up the hill out of our village (complete with hairpin).

Hi there! from the Yorkshire Dales
;)Perhaps your ladies don't wear trousers? I do, and mine's about 27" (68 cm). We're 20 minutes from Skipton, about an hour from Preston, South Manchester more like an hour and a half. Leeds would be about the same as Preston. We're quite near the Lakes, and go there a lot, not so fond of Preston - but if needs must...

Hi there! from the Yorkshire Dales
Thanks, Bob, I need to find some suppliers round here (BD24) as there are lots of bike shops but most sell unassisted mountain bikes. My biggest problem is that I'm only 5'-1" which rules out the bigger bikes, but I don't really want a folder - retired, no commuting!

Hi there! from the Yorkshire Dales
Hi, my name is Diane and I live in the Yorkshire Dales with my partner and two cats. We have had mountain bikes for years but with so many steep hills hereabouts we spent more time pushing them uphill than riding them so mostly left them behind and walked. Well, we're not getting any younger and the Dales aren't getting any less hilly so I've decided to do some research into e-bikes. I really don't know anything about them at all so will spend some time reading the threads on here. Thanks!
