Hello again, and thanks for the welcome! At the moment I have not set a budget, if I find something that I want I'll find the money one way or the other! Might get something 2nd hand, cheap and cheerful to start off with, and if I like it I may well splash out on a good 'un! Hope I don't embarrass myself by asking too many daft questions before I buy! I have found a dealer not too far from me so I may well have a wander down there in the next week or two........ Looking forward to chatting some more with you!

Hi! I'm mattlad! Just joined the forum, I am thinking of getting a pedelec, not sure what to get yet so basically asking everything there is to know about pedelecs that I am too afraid to ask! I anticipate that I will be using it to go to Mum and Dad's, (2 miles) to and from the pub, around the local neighbourhood and on canal towpaths. (We have a boat in the family.) Just to complicate things I picked up some damage to one of my knees when I was mis-spending my teens so I think a pedelec would be a better solution for me than an ordinary push-bike. Looking forward to your advice and recommendations!
