Hi John. He states the bike is used but the kit including the battery and motor are brand new. he has sent me pics of the bike and it all looks in very good condition,as for viewing it its to far for me to go and check it out.so it would be delivered.

Hi John Thank you for your reply and the link which I'm just going to check.I have come across a converted one which sounds good its a 48v 20ah lipo battery on a Diamondbach bike which the seller wants £950 just wavering at the moment as to getting it or not.

Thanks for all the info d8veh.as for the battery I paid £120 to get re conditioned from a guy on ebay that was the IZIP CB26 one which I only got done about 6 weeks ago.but it only lasted me half a mile then needed charging. you mention un clipping the case to replace the batterys.where would I get those batterys from please.as it would be an easy alternative to the problem.as I'm not very good with bikes and electrics as I would probably end up with a bike doing 25mph backwards

Thanks.I do want speed but as much as that bike looks great and has everything I would like the money is way beyond my means.I tried to sell the bike on ebay the other week and the most I was offered was £80 I only paid £120 about 5 weeks ago to get the battery reconditioned from a place on ebay that does them. Thats why I thought the kit I mentioned maybe a good alternative.

I have just been talking to a seller on ebay who is selling a 48v kit and he said it would be ok to use on my bone shaker as long as I got a 48v battery, he is asking for a nose bleeding £200 what do you think.?

Thanks for your replies.the one thing I'd like to do is what d8veh suggests throw if off a cliff but with the person I bought it off strapped to it. other than it looks like I'm stuck with a crap bike.I have seen a 48v kit on ebay which I thought I could use the the bone shaker but with my knowledge of E bikes very limited to say the least it would be a waste of money.

Thanks Hugh for the link. do you think the battery I have is no good.? the charger I got with it is a 24volt charger.even though the red light on the charger went green after an hour do you think its worth still leaving it charging.?

Sorry if I have put this in the wrong thread. but can any tell me where I can get one of these 36V 10AH LiFePO4 Battery E bike Aluminium Case please. I have just bought a bike off a con man for £450 and after 40 mins I'm having to charge the battery and it only took an hour to charge so I'm thinking the battery may be on the way out any help would be appreciated

Thanks flecc and d8veh for the information. I will go for easiest option which is using the insulating tape that way there is less chance of me soldering myself to something. I will have to get a voltmete/multimeter first.

Thanks.it sounds easy enough but where do I solder on my lead.having not done nothing like it I wouldn't have a clue
