  1. C cheers I'll go for the 18t then was thinking of the 20t but may need to change chain.
  2. hi looking at changing my front chain ring on my Bosch cx on a cube reaction. Currently has 15t. My commute is pretty flat and keep running out of pedal speed. I see they do rings from 14t to 22t what can I swap to without getting a longer chain? Thanks
  3. Thanks eddy appreciate that. About four hours away so a bit far. It's with a cube dealer at the moment so hoping they will get to the bottom of it. All that I have read indicates bolts on motor but they said they have checked them.
  4. It's still with the dealer hopefully they would of tried oiling the chain, but I will let them know thanks for the reply
  5. hi all Need a bit of advice from you technical chaps. I have a cube reaction 400 less than a year old and it has slowly developed a creak from the crank on both sides, more noticeable on the left arm. It is slowly getting louder and becoming annoying. A Local cube dealer has had a look and can't find the issue. It's not the pedals, the crank bolts or the internal bolts that hold the motor. They say it could be the sealed part of the Bosch motor but that needs sending back to the Netherlands. Anyone else had issues on the Bosch motor? I found one thread but that seemed to be the internal mounting bolts of the motor. Thanks
  6. I'm struggling to google this as well do you have a link to the GSM crank and whom might be retailing this fine item?
  7. Hi trex , do you mean buy their TCM crank drive off Woosh? Will it fit my sirocco?
  8. Sorry for all the questions, but I assume they will set current levels in advanced settings before they dispatch if I tell them my battery spec. I have read about adjust wheel size and top speed. Thanks for your knowledge.
  9. Ok I think I understand, I was going to buy a kit from the woosh team, as they are pretty helpful. I've also read about different software versions in the motors. Do you know if there kits are ok or would you recommend a different retailer d8veh?
  10. Thank you both I was afraid of that but trying to convince myself it will be ok, as I've read the 250w is a bit under powered.
  11. Hi all I have trawled through the forum pages and cannot find a definite answer. So if some could just put me right it would be appreciated. I have a good condition 36v 10Ah battery off my broken sirocco and wish to move this and some other bits onto a cheap lightweight hybrid for work. I intend to fit a 8fun bbs02 crank kit. Should I get the 350w or can the battery handle the 500w version? . Thanks
  12. Hi add me DT4 Ta
  13. Thanks a lot for your advice, I shall let you know how it goes.
  14. Hi there thanks for the reply. It's a Q128 rear hub motor 400-500w 36v not sure if its a bmp 1 or 2 Also it is a KU123 controller. The old controller is only rated at 10amp so not sure I can push it that hard. What type of battery would you suggest for that set up. I spoke to bms battery's but they weren't very helpful. I have now decided to put the old battery bike back to standard and start from scratch with a secondhand bike. Now I've purchased a kit.
  15. Hi All any chance of a bit of technical advice I purchased a kit from BMS (500w rear hub 36v- no battery) I have a second hand electric bike and fancied upgrading it as a project for off road purposes. wired it all as per diagram but when I operate the throttle all I get is a clicking sound from the hub motor and no rotation. The battery is a 36v 10a good condition. I have tried swapping the Phase wires round but that makes no difference. I hope thats enough info any ideas would be greatfully recieved thanks Currymonster
