Kalkhoff Agattu 49cm diamond frame for sale
Selling my wife's Agattu as we are moving abroad and can't take it with us. Bought 2008. Done less than 100 miles (!?). Some small scuffs on handlebar ends, brake ends and chip on front post, but otherwise very good condition. 7 speed Nexus 10 Ah battery Had following modifications made to it by 50 Cycles when we bought it: straight handlebars put on suspension seat post replaced with standard replaced pedals with toe clips It's great quality bike and fun to ride. Selling for £700 If you are interested please get in touch. Happy to answer any queries and provide further info. We live near Newport, South Wales. Will

Bike workstands for pedelecs
Seeking a workstand for a Kalkhoff Agattu... Any recommendations? The type that clamp the top tube look most versatile, but can they take the weight (about 22Kg without battery)? This fold-up clamp stand gets good recent reviews; X-Tools Workshop Prep Stand Pro Review - BikeRadar Can't find manufacturer info on what weight it takes or what size tubes the clamp is good for. Does anyone have one? Is it up for a big bike? This workstand and others can also turn the clamp vertical to grip the seatpost. That seems preferable for supporting the weight but then the bike will be off balance when positioned horizontally though it should be balanced when tilted downward, front wheel down. The cheapest I've found surfing is an 'A-frame' type that supports the bike under the bottom bracket and up the down tube. Home Mechanic Folding Bike Cycle Repair Stand (EBay) I doubt that the Kalkhoff's crank-motor assembly would sit on this type of workstand. Has anyone tried? Ta for any help.

Kalkhoff Agattu 49cm diamond frame
We have a Kalkhoff Agattu for sale. It's a 49cm diamond frame, 10 months old and has done less than 20 miles. 50 Cycles replaced the original curvy handlebars with straight ones for us and we swapped the suspension seat-post for a generic post. We're in Bristol and looking to sell for £1050. It really is a nice bike, circumstances mean it's not getting the use it deserves for now. Willz

Is this idea legal?
Hello, my first post... A more suitable platform for testing electric transmissions like this is a boat rather than a bicycle - no hills & weight less of an issue. Start with a modified rowing machine of the flywheel type as the biomechanical input with the transmission driving a small propeller. The flywheel gives you some smoothing and storage in place of a battery and could be formed from the generator iron. I have always thought it a major design flaw of rowing boats that has you facing backwards to the direction of motion - electric transmission solves this as well as all the inconvenience of oars (clashing, 'catching crabs' or dropping them in the water). Hmm, this is no longer an Electric Bicycles thread. Move to technical?
