  1. Did over 2000 miles on my 2015 Sduro hardseven sl last year and didn't have a problem with Motor or electrics. Tough old beast and still going strong. Used all through winter come rain sleet and snow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Great day out at sherwood pines on the red route. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160407/8f353d4c920f134a3fe01eace49beeb2.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160407/95c18c4c46da2a93a1dc8344d4b2f895.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160407/0a42e21010c3431e0cd7d2bbfed58188.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hello, I have a 2015 haibike hardseven sl for sale in size 50cm, I bought it new last year and is in good condition, been using it for commuting to work. the battery has been looked after and only stored indoors when not in use. I am located in-between derby and Nottingham near j25 of the M1 if you want to view. comes with everything that you get from new, bike, battery, charger, 2 keys and manuals. just put on new chain and cassette, will also have little used tyres as I have been using different ones from almost new. £1200 ono thanks.
  4. Don't forget the Sduro full fat six coming out for 2016. Fat bike and full sus with really good spec for less money.
  5. Hi. I have the hard seven sl and it's absolutely brilliant. Loads of power from the Yamaha motor, I used to have a hub motor on my old mtb and it was ok and did the job but this makes a massive difference. You don't need a throttle with this bike, just stick it in high and even the gentlest of pushes on the pedals will get you motoring up to cut off speed. If you haven't ridden one yet then that's what you need to do next and that will make your mind up. It did for me. I use mine every day to get to work on.
  6. Thanks for the advice, I was looking at European prices but its the warranty that bothers me, it's the case of sending it back if anything went wrong. Plus I have now had the go ahead at work to buy through the proc2w scheme, the Sduro allmtn Rx is £3700 here in Britain but I would sacrifice £210 from my salary every month and end up paying just £2520 for it, saving approximately 32% on list price and I don't have to fork out the full amount in one go. Martin at the ebike shop uses this scheme along with several others UK shops. http://www.proc2w.co.uk/Financials.html
  7. Yeah I tried both Bosch performance and Yamaha at sherwood pines late last year at a haibike test day. I preferred the Yamaha more that time because it felt more instant and pokier. One of the main reasons for looking at the 2016 Bosch was the 500Wh battery and the little extra torque but the xduro allmtn Rc costs £3800 and the Sduro Rx costs £3700 but gains better brakes, dropper seat post and the E.I suspension. ( bit of a no brainer really ). The new Bosch would have to be much better for me to consider it, I am off to the 2015 cycle show at the nec in September and Raleigh came back to me saying that they will have the new 2016 haibikes there but no response on if they will be there to ride as of yet.
  8. Yeah you're right. Thinking about it after I wrote that I thought there's no point changing to a Bosch if I'm so happy with the Yamaha. I am changing to a full sus but going to stick with the motor I know.
  9. So is the new Bosch cx motor more powerful than the Yamaha do you think? Just wondered as I'm not sure which one to go for. I have a haibike with the yamy motor at the moment but just wondered if I would notice any difference in the new Bosch?
  10. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/09/7932343e869bddd46af640493b3d2c60.jpg Here's a pic I got from the Internet on the new models coming out, we might not see all of them in this country though.
  11. Also the 2016 models are coming out very soon and from what I have read on German sites the new model sduro's will now have 4 levels of assist instead of 3, the lcd display has a usb port and the motor is a lot quieter but I find that last one hard to believe as it is already quite and can hardly hear it sometimes when your on it. Haibike have also extended the range by adding quite a lot more models into the range so it might be worth holding off a few weeks until the new models are announced.
  12. Hi dkf. I have had my Sduro hardseven since Xmas just gone and all I can say is you will love it. I didn't bother with the nine as mine is more of a commuter to work and the occasional off roader at the weekends and I didn't want to spend the extra on the nine. I don't think you'll find much difference in the ride between them both. I have done a fair few miles on mine now as I cycle to work 6 days a week and touch wood it hasn't let me down yet apart from the usual inevitable punctures. I rode the Bosch and Yamaha system before I made my decision and I instantly loved the feel of the Yamaha. Nothing wrong with the Bosch but the Sduro felt better for my needs as the power is virtually instant. It's also very easy to ride without the battery as I recently found out on a family holiday with my 8 yr old son.
  13. thanks martin, can I ask if you have had many people use this scheme through yourself? I am just waiting for the release prices and UK specs for the new sduro range then I can make my decision. I am down to 3, either the new xduro allmtn rc but I need to ride one first to see what the new system feels like or it will be the sduro allmtn rc or rx.
  14. I have spoken about that to them as well and they have confirmed that the company do not need a consumer credit licence. this is why I was wondering if anyone else on here has bought there new bike through this scheme yet as I am very interested in purchasing my next toy
