KTM e-Race 48v Bionx - fancy one??
Hi, Got it from Fusion Electric Bikes but unfortunately they have gone out of business. We assumed it would be out of warranty. I have tried speaking to Bionx to get it sorted but they were zero help!

KTM e-Race 48v Bionx - fancy one??
We couldn't get a spare battery so could be a great buy for someone who already has a Bionx bike and wants some off road fun!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/391338261461

KTM eRace for sale
Hi, We have a KTM eRace for sale. Medium 18" frame - it's this one http://www.sportkostner.com/en/news-events/ktm-e-race-the-ebike SPOILER ALERT! .... Unfortunately the battery has died! Had it checked out and the shop can't get it going. They put a different battery on and the bike is all fine - just to check it was only the battery. Therefore, it's probably only good for someone with a spare BionX battery. It's the 48v systems but have been told it would work with any voltage BionX battery with the same downtube mount - i.e. so long as it fits. The bike itself is in excellent condition and just had it (annoyingly!) serviced by the LBS. It's a great bike but my partner doesn't want to fork out for a new battery. Could also be good for anyone with a BionX system who also wants an off road bike. Location is Bristol. Any offers welcome.

Help required for BionX 48v Battery
Hi all, We have a KTM erace witht he 48v BionX system fitted. Unfortunately the battery has died. Shop has checked the fuse etc but no more life. It used to hold good charge and have a fine range but just stopped one day so probably the board or soemthing inside has gone is my guess. Wondering if anyone out there has a spare battery to sell or perhaps knows of anyone who could fix the battery? Any comments very gratefully received!!

Any opinions on this greatly appreciated please
Thanks guys, that's really useful. I already have a Haibike Xduro with the Bosch system (would recommend to anyone!) so have a road legal 'off road' bike. I was looking at this for the days when you want more poweeerrrrrrrrrrr (Clarksonesque!) as these go up to 70kph. Thinking it's awesome for Bikeparkwales, skipping the uplift need. I was looking at new but the Ego motor/battery kits are around £2k so if the bike is in good nick then it's essentially a free bike. Thanks again.

Hi, Thanks. Only that I don't think sellers give an unbiased opinion is the only reason I ask here!

I am considering purchasing this Kona Coilair 2012 full suspension mountain bike with Ego kit electric motor | eBay ... but, I don't have any experience of the Ego electric kits - although they do look awesome. I realise it's nnot road legal but that's fine as it will all be off-road stuff. I just can't find any reviews of these kits anywhere so wondered if anyone here has any experience? Thanks in advance
