  1. thanks for your inputs, as requested pic of faulty part.
  2. Hi i have a Tesco Hopper foldable bike I purchased about 2014 I was wondering where can I purchase spare parts for the battery carrier can any body help.
  3. Hi back again Does anybody know how to setup the rear suspension spring it has a adjustable notched ring at the top I presume there is some sort of guide on setting this up or do I just leave it at original setting thanks Grahame
  4. Hi just fitted the £7 Tesco wired computer onto Hopper. My only observations on fitting are Wire only just long enough to reach position on left side of forks would never reach to the rear wheel if you was going to fit it there, had to pack out the fork sensor to get a proper reading not many options on where to fit on forks the higher you go on forks the greater the distance from spoke sensor. Instruction booklet useless just pictures comp setup more of a trial and error not to bad once you have managed the first initial setup I had to do the walk the line calculation to get my wheel size as the 20 inch wheel not shown in table my calculation was 1510mm on ( 20 x 1.75 tyre )hope that's right any body using a differant setting for this bike.other than that I suppose it's good value for money. Just started raining so will have to hold of road test, any body stuck on setting up just give me a post.
  5. Hi thanks for your input taking your advise just ordered the Tesco £7 one hopefully pick it up in next couple of days and give it a go. Will post results after fitting.
  6. Didn't think about them rattling so I will leave well alone for the time being.
  7. Hi thanks for that it seems to work doing as suggested I can see what you mean about catching the battery when taking out will have to fit a safety line onto the handle does this get any better with use I presume the catch is not inline with the hole is it worth slight mod to the hole.
  8. Thanks for your info everybody but has anybody actually fitted one to the hopper. Will have a look at the aldi one when in stock.
  9. Tesco Hopper blue £420 Just in case anybody is interested I would like to share my early experiences on the purchase of the Tesco Hopper. Placed order on tesco web site on a Sunday bike arrived by courier on the Tuesday well packaged but no communication of arrival time just a guide on the tracking order number ( box size 34"x16"x27" ) Internal packaging good on unpacking bike small scratch on front fork but acceptable . Assembly of bike easy just a few bits to add like front and rear reflectors, bell and front and rear Lights ( these items not listed on web ). Couple of points to note are on the web page it does not say you are getting the extras bit of a bonus, also it may be of interest to some people that ther seems to be a confusing frame measurement on there site states frame size as 11" I measured mine from crank centre to top of seat post was 16" don't know where they got there measurement from if you phone tesco they have no more info only what is provided on web page. I did find that the lock for the battery is a bit fiddle and the frame lock at the bottom not obviose that you have to push the locking bolt downwards direction to close the frame also you have to register bike for warranty through Avocet limited time to register small white card fixed to bike not where you would expect to find it easily missed and thrown away with packaging. Hope this info is helpfully to a new buyer will update my experiences when I eventually get it on the road.
