That is exactly what I was thinking: a Mio Cyclo GPS with a Nyon screen is what I need! (the Nyon screen is the only good thing on the damned piece).

Hopefully without Nyon or Santa is going to cause some big damage ...

On the German forum they are not very happy with the update. It now crashes even more. What a piece of junk this Nyon and its software is.

You do not have to buy it, just like you do not have to buy every year a new Iphone, but many people do (and are happy with it).

That sounds like the 1:1 gearing problem. I had it after putting the Badass tuning on; front sprocket an 18. 18 x 2,5 (Bosch gearing) = 45. The dongle divides by 3, so 45/3 = 15. When I shifted on the rear to the 15 I got the 1:1 and then the Bosch motor stopped working (working sometimes for a few seconds an then stopping again). This is exactly the phenomen you describe. Badass sent me a replacement dongle that did a division by 5 and the problem was solved. But it can happen without a dongle (experiences on German forum). And some motors get the problem even when the gearing is 1:0,98 ...

My lock up and what I read on the German forum; it happened when it was warm. What did Bosch say to German questions about the missing reset button? The lock up happens very rarely (not so true) and we did not put a reset button on Intuvia because people tend to push it when not needed and then disturb the dealers with a reset unit to put it back OK (??!)

In Germany they do not only report software problems with Nyon but also hardware problems: a number of people have the edge of their Nyon getting cracked. When I read on the German forum about Nyon; man Bosch really f**ked up with Nyon.

No app yet for Iphone, only for Android. Smart chaps them Germans. They even 'forgot' Belgium in the maps!

I wonder if a connected Intuvia gets charged while a charged battery is mounted to the bike while that battery nor Intuvia is switched on.

I have two questions about the Intuvia charging and battery time: - how long does it aproximately take for a not used, fully charged Intuvia battery to go completely flat? (when not using the ebike after how many days, weeks, months do you have to recharge the Intuvia battery?) - does the Intuvia charges its battery when a charged motor battery is mounted to the bike but the battery is not switched on?

In the Bosch manual version 2015 (http://www.bosch-ebike.de/de/service/downloads/downloads.php) I noticed that it is possible to see the Intuvia software version, the battery software version and the drive unit software version. No need for diagnostics software.
