Also do you think the lights on top of the main light is a clue to low power maybe?

Thanks for your reply, the new battery's are the same ones that come off except made by lucas. 3 x 12v rt12121 The Old ones failed a battery test so that's why we bought new ones. Is there a way too test the voltage getting to the rear hub? Anyone know what wire is what. Thanks again for your help

Good evening, we have bought a second hand bike which is a import ( all wrote in Chinese) you can hold it back on full throttle so something not right. It had the lights on top of the headlight but the right hand light doesn't light up, I know it works as it flickers when it's turned on and off. You can set off up a slight incline but it just shows down on throttle. You can pedal it on assist but it shouldgo up. Is there any checks we can do? Thanks for your help. Also new battery's put on had slightly helped but not much.

Good evening everyone, we are new to the electric bike scene and have bought an electric bike. Of what type it is we don't know as it's all in Chinese. It had 3 settings of throttle only, pedal assist or off. We bought 3 new batteries for it as it was a bit slow but it hasn't helped all that much. It won't drive of the mark very well and on full throttle you can hold it from moving. It runs out of steam when you get it moving as soon as it goes up hill so you have to pedal and have throttle on to get any assistance. Is there anything we should look for too help it work. Also the last light on the right does not illuminate. Thanks for any help.
